+xBig Blue sold out for tomorrow. Decent effort 👍 Can't wait to see a packed out Jubilee. Been to a sharks/dragons game with 18k or so and that was a great atmosphere. This should be phenomenal.

Terrible crowds last night.
Nix - terrible weather and average team.
Roar - what’s doing there?

Roars fairly simple - performance and results haven’t lived up to preseason expectations, Saturday night games aren’t popular with parents/kids whereas a Saturday/Sunday arvo game pulls in 3-4,000 kids there were less than a couple of hundred in the family section last night and finally the game was on FTA so if you’re picking s game to miss, this ones the go.
Should have been 11-12k all the same but 0.9/goals/game at home for the last year and a bit doesn’t inspire anyone to get up and go either.

+x+xPhoenix v Adelaide...........4,831 #Metrics Gallop_And_Nix_out Oof. Far too early to be slipping under 5 in a 20k plus stadium. The decline begins.

Wiki has the modern-day record as 20,847, but as we know today was a sellout.

the NRL rarely gets that sort of crowd, so we'd have to say it's a very good attendance

If you want to see a crowd open up a stream of the MLS Semi Final on right now, it's a full house for Atlanta United v New York RB.
This will be their sixth 70k+ crowd this season.

My mistake, it's their seventh 70k crowd, the list I saw just showed the regular season. They'll most likely add one more to that hosting the MLS Cup final after they won 3-0, with the highest on the table hosting.

I've been following their success for the last couple of years. They'll crash and burn no question. 70k won't continue watching a bunch of no names around a Paraguayan international. Worst possible things they could do are a) not sign a serious $$$ marquee next year AND/OR b) win the MLS this season - do that and it's fairytale concluded.
