Australia on top, in a position to push for victory in the match. I think India allowed Australia to get away early with a good opening partnership when they bowled badly. They also let some pressure off in the lead up to the second new ball by bowling Vihari for so many overs. Vihari did get two wickets but one was because of the pitch and the other due to horrid shot. However it could have been so much better as Marsh and Head both threw their innings away when they both could have been there for tomorrow. 

They said a bit before the end of day that Bumrah had had 14 plays and misses and 16 edges. Those figures definitely went up a bit.

India should've had a specialist spinner like Jadeja.  I might be wrong, but I thought he was more effective than Ashwin against the Poms in England a few months ago.
