+x+x+xTest Fan, Baggers and I, all agree about the quality of Kohli’s century. He must be the top batter in the world ATM. Without Smith playing Kohli would be the best player in the world. Williamson is pretty good was well, not far behind. Amla has a long quality career behind him but not quite at the same level, more at Pujara's level. Joe Root is very, very good as well. Amla is cooked, he's done. Hasn't scored regular runs in yonks. Their is a global shortage of high quality bats as bowlers dominated this year... Just look at who is in the top 10 batters... IND | 920 | NZ | 913 | AUS | 901 | IND | 846 | ENG | 807 | AUS | 795 | SL | 753 | SA | 724 | NZ | 709 | PAK | 708 |
I never though Id see H Nicholls in the top 10... surprises me too.

Vihari gone, good ball by Hazlewood.
Pant now standing between the newish ball and the tail. This could be fun.

+x4-225.What a recovery from India after being 2-8! The openers are India's weakness without Shaw in the side, so losing them both quickly is bad but not as bad as in some teams

Well done Hazlewood, getting an outside edge to dismiss Vihari, caught Paine.
Hopefully, we get into the fragile Indian tail soon.

I’m surprised how fast Starc is bowling compared to Cummins.
A year and a half ago in Asia, Cummins was as quick as Starc is now - balls up to 150kph.

There is just sufficient in this deck to keep the quicks interested.

Bumrah has a batting average of 1.43. I wonder who out of players who played a while has the lowest average? Devon Malcolm was awful and he has an average of 6. Bruce Reid an average of 4.65 with a high score of 13.

+xThere is just sufficient in this deck to keep the quicks interested. This is what Starc should be doing more. Is lethal when he gets his radar spot on. Starc to Kohli, no run, 147kph, short one, climbs off the shoulder of the bat in the air but it falls just short of point! That was a brutish delivery

Baggers, maybe Cummins’ injuries have resulted in medical advice to bowl within himself?
If he keeps slowing down, we have plenty of fast medium line and length bowlers as alternatives.
There are also genuine pace bowlers to replace him like Stanlake, Richardson and Meredith.

+xBaggers, maybe Cummins’ injuries have resulted in medical advice to bowl within himself? If he keeps slowing down, we have plenty of fast medium line and length bowlers as alternatives. There are also genuine pace bowlers to replace him like Stanlake, Richardson and Meredith. Brew I still prefer him over Tremain and the others on the fringe.

Tremaine, Richardson would open my attack. Who would be your first change?

7-252 for the session, means we took 4 for the session and won it!
I’m thinking Lyon is now a great, after taking yet another important wicket.

+x+x+xBaggers, maybe Cummins’ injuries have resulted in medical advice to bowl within himself? If he keeps slowing down, we have plenty of fast medium line and length bowlers as alternatives. There are also genuine pace bowlers to replace him like Stanlake, Richardson and Meredith. Brew I still prefer him over Tremain and the others on the fringe. If we are picking an A side. Tremaine, Richardson would open my attack. Who would be your first change? At the moment the trio are Bolland, Tremain and Richardson. Siddle is too old for an A side even though he might still play a test or two. Pattinson would be very close as well but Bolland and Tremain are out bowling him for Victoria. The Tasmanian quicks are interesting, perhaps Steketee from Queensland and Worrall from SA as others to consider.
