I don't see why he would he has been there done that this is the biggest challenge for them and they have a great squad. If they go deep in the competition i think it would bring a lot of attention especially with honda

Brisbane v Victory only did 45k last night,.
Even the best team with the best marquee paid for by the ffa can’t even get eyeballs on screens, little hope for the rest.

I think this year is a write off overall in terms of interest.
I hardly watch any matches, and those I do watch tend to be decent quality but I just can’t engage as much as I once did.
The FFA will have to spend big on a relaunch next year with a new club, WSW in their new stadium and hopefully some better advertising will bring about some optimism.

Now that cricket is getting fox through the summer months, unless there’s a dramatic turnaround in ratings the next tv deal is going to be pretty dire for the a-league, if fox even want it.

“The future is streaming and foxtel haven't got with the program yet.“
Well they’re late to streaming but they’re here now with Kayo which is rather excellent imo

Today I was advised that the big bash League 4 women's achieved a rating of 42000 individual viewers compared to the top of the table clash in the A-League which also achieved 42000 individual viewers full stop
If these numbers are true then it's a tombstone for the A-League

You seem rather touchy crackpot For your info I watched the Perth game and the derby tonight also Point is a women's BBL had the same amount of viewers as the Perth Game My concern is what would be the value of women's BBL because it got the same amount of viewers?
Will WBBL go up or will the ALeague go down in value?

Saddest part is the BBL wasn't even an idea when the ALeague started I don't think there will be a next tv deal To be honest, I am so relieved that south saved it's $15 million put forward for a licence and hopefully redirects thatoney towards the establishment of a second tier TBH it can't happen soon enough as the A-League is sinking father fath the Titanic Id value an ALeague licence at $2million max based on the actual numbers and exposure it's currently getting Once a second national tier is up and running I predict half the ALeague teams trying to jump ship
