Baggers thinks Bumrah is getting reverse because its swiningafter 40 overs - no thats still normal swing with all that grasss on the pitch.... LOL... Aus seamers have forgotten about grass...

Comms said it was reversing.

If only Cummins had gotten these two cheaply in the first inn.. if only.

He is having a golden match.

I dun care what comms said tbf....
tell me when it reverses to outswing... in all politeness...

If its in swing from Bumrah - its inswing...

Pat Cummins and the GOAT are the only talent in Australia's bowlers. Time to drop Starc and Hazlewood, let Cummins open and try Pattinson and Tremain. But that won't happen because CA pay Hazlewood and Starc in excess of 3 million per year and are on a contract. They have to pay them out. You've seen the add Hazlewood purchases a 1.6 million dollar home and the other bidders are Starc and Cummins. Pattinson and Tremain aren't on contract currently.

I still like Starc for what he is, inconsistent yes, but can be a match winner and x factor. Hazlewood can go

Wow....

For that kind of money you could buy Bumrah, Shami, Anderson, Rabada, Steyn, Nigidi, Boult, Holder, Abbas, Afridi, Ali,  Shami, Gabriel....

Now lets talk spinners - like Leach, Shah, Jadeja....

With the next 2 days having rain on the way, it was a bit of a silly decision if you ask me. Even without the collapse it just gave us a chance to draw it with rain.

I agree Starc has an excellent record, so it would be hard to let him go yet, but you want more consistency, from him. The problem with the stats you showed before, is Starc did play Pakistan where as Hazlewood didn't and that did blow out Starc's record this year.

Stuff his x factor. Does not produce it often enuff.

Haze is averaging 35 this year.  Not Test standard. Then perhaps some time back in Shield may reignite and invigorate him. They speak of this "gilded bubble". To be honest he has not bowled as badly as those figures indicate. Only yesterday grazor said he had the ball talking. Bowled without luck that is for sure. But as you say a bowler has to take wickets.

Not long ago I posted the dejected look of Australia in the field.
They look a totally different side now - unfortunately India has enough runs in the bank.
Interesting before this test Cummins was being slated behind Hazlewood & Starc.

I feel we'd get more out of him if Hazlewood was what he is made to be by the media. Just someone who is actually consistently threatening with a good line and length and then have Starc try and knock the stumps out of the ground the other end.

Entirely likely, but this pitch is still going to be solid for batting and they will make it far closer than it needed to be.

Sam I agree with you 100%. Remember before this series it was all about Hazlewood, with Langer saying he will be the bowler of the series, They showed pictures of Smith and Warner in the nets ducking Hazlewood, because of the aggressive bowling, where is this aggression in the test when it matters. Hazlewood has always been a number 3 bowler and currently with a weak batting line up we need 3 aggressive wicket taking bowlers to bowl sides out cheaply, and quickly. Remember it was Hazlewood with his 32 over for only 1 wicket that kept us out in the field for 2 days, M Marsh didn't help. If we had more aggressive wicket takers, Lyon wouldn't have to have bowled as many overs as he did. Cummins 4/10 from 6 overs that's aggressive. Shame they already have enough runs.

Sure  - maybe - If Aus had batted against a tired attack and scored 400 - they may have won if the rain holds offf...

I agree wtih Kohli's non- enforcemment and called it before it happened...

I think he gets a lot of things wrong - but not this...

This is Bumrahs moment - he wants it and he's good enough... Jadeja - he has footmarks....

Under 400 and Aus chase it - you have a strong point. 400 or over - or Aus dont chase it... Kohli wins

They were in the field for 60 overs and every Australian player looked utterly depressed and devoid of confidence. Now they will be going in with time to regroup mentally and with some confidence.

I was very happy when Kohli made the call because it gave us a chance to save this test.

Paddles notice Baggers has gone very quiet?

Then you missed this Mike. So I bumped it so you did not think I was sneaking out.

Stuff  Starc's x factor. Does not produce it often enuff. Should be sacked.

Haze is averaging 35 this year?  Not Test standard. So some time back in Shield for him and Starc may get them out of this "gilded bubble". To be honest Josh has not bowled as badly as those figures indicate. Only yesterday grazor said he had the ball talking. Bowled without luck that is for sure. But as you say a bowler has to take wickets.

But as you say a bowler has to take wickets.
Help what is all this crap that accompanied my bumping that story?

Mike you seem to spend 80 % of your typing on bowler comments. Our bowling is really not the problem at the moment. The batting is. How about commenting of that for a change. This batting lineup we have at the moment.. in fact for the past 12 months.. is not Test standard.
