+x+x+x+xWell, or it could be that he knows about as much as we do about what really happened. Or he doesnt want to drop lucy in it, or someone at ffa hq who is a mate or any one of a heap of reasons Of course but so much for 'fearless' reporting and not caring about stepping on anyone's toes. Mr 'High and Mighty' himself. And all this from a bloke who put himself up to be a member of the board. He should be applying a big fuck off blowtorch to these pricks instead of staying schtum. Normally I'd agree with you, but Craig Foster (along with Brendan Schwab) met with FIFA this morning in Zurich to try and get them to actually do something about the Hakeem Al-Araibi issue, which is becoming quite an urgent now. So what's he being doing for the past 10 days before he climbed on a plane? The guy has been sinking all his energy into #SaveHakeem. Travelling to Thailand to meet with Hakeem and then travelling to the UK, Belgium, Zurich, etc gathering support and using his media connections to try to make something happen. It's not Foz's job to help Hakeem, but he has taken it upon himself to do something. I wouldn't be surprised if there is some sort of FFA imposed media blackout regarding details about the Matildas anyway.

Besides, if Foz had anything negative to say about the FFA's agenda, his 'opponents' would be saying he's the one with the agenda because he didn't get chosen. No win situation.

Im normally against most of what he has done and said in the past, but he's earning huge amounts of respect avoiding this shit storm, and attempting to save hakeem

A Player Agent has released an email on the Matilda's Lesbian Culture. The rumours posted on page 24 of thread have legs. https://www.twitter.com/Zenith_SEM/status/1090084354984984576/photo/1

https://medium.com/@fbsupporters/concern-regarding-the-dismissal-of-matildas-head-coach-b85a4c332feeLetter from Football Supporters Australia. Another group added to the anti-FFA side. Still only Lucy, Tracey, Lynda Taylor and paulc on the FFA's side.

https://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/crisis-point-how-stajcic-sacking-left-matildas-in-tattersLucy puts her points in again. While still agreeing with the decision, it's more balanced and calls for an inquiry now.

Blah blah there’s lots of different opinions blah blah no one knows what happened except the players blah blah blah others need to share the blame blah blah we actually don’t know the truth blah blah and so I apologise to Alen Stajcic for insinuating he did something disgraceful and deserved to be sacked But of course she never said that last bit.

So if the board of FFA creates psychological distress to the players, by sacking Stajcic and bully them into accepting a new coach, shouldn't FFA be be sacked? It sounds like a toxic environment.Surely a toxic enviroment is just as bad a toxic culture? Maybe FFA can explain what exactly is a toxic culture and give us some guidelines. I think Roar ,CCM and WSW are in a toxic enviroment about now.So much psychological distress, probably bullying by coaches .Maybe without bed hopping it doesn't qualify as truly toxic to justify sacking the coach?

Basically the FFA has created an even more toxic environment than the pre existing... If Stajcic should be sacked for his behaviour, so should those responsible for this mess...

Nice to see how she has subtle snipes at journalists like Bonita. Maybe they should rotort back at her for insinuating that Staj had done some horrific. Now she's backtracking her previous sentiments by asking for the truth to come out. In the words of Connor McGregor, get the fock outta ere.

Lucy Zelic said: (quoted from the article below( “the rest of us are just bystanders trying to make sense of this train wreck without knowing exactly who or what, caused the accident. … It's not known on what grounds the board sacked Stajcic, and whether those grounds were legitimate” https://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/crisis-point-how-stajcic-sacking-left-matildas-in-tattersThis is how a person tries to save their face without showing integrity. If Lucy previously was willing to say - if you knew what I know, then you'd know Stajcic had to be sacked -- and now she groups herself with the unknowing masses - she is guilty of doing what the Mainstream Media do all the time, that is speak FAKE NEWS. Notice how she builds up her own credibility by referring to her experience in journalism. So she's telling us that people with journalism training do not lie, and that people with journalism training have great credibility? C'mon Lucy.

Thanks Burztur. Looks like that toxic environment has been really well addressed- the Matilda’s seem so much happier. And clearly, despite what Gallop stated, the players are now choosing the coaching staff. Now who do we believe? Nikou who says all is well with the Matilda’s? Or the Matilda’s, who say it’s not? Hmmm.

Clearly the Matilda’s are all telling lies and the toxic culture remains! Guess Stajcic wasn’t at fault!

Or the Matilda’s are telling the truth, and the toxic environment is actually at Board level? I ask again, who would you believe? They can’t all be telling the truth.

I think this fiasco is a perfect storm of (a) incompetent and conniving administrators (b) unprofessional behavour of some of players and (c) some of the bad results from 2018.
Enough said about the ffa I really some of players should also have a good hard look at themselves if they really want to achieve something in the WC.

So Stajcic's contract was terminated to avoid the expectation of losing games in the long term through the toxic culture? So despite the unknown of a new coach and all the upheavel that would cause and uncertain outcome of future success ,a successful coach epwas sacked? If that makes no sense that's because its nonsensical. Future success is not guaranteed no matter what you do.But actually having past and current success is probably as good an indicator as you can get. When the easiest solution to fix what was a minor problem was to actually send in some HR people,FFA decided it was better to destroy everything and start again. If a new coach comes in,does the new coach get to choose their own players? What if the new coach sacks all the current players except for one or two ,so,as to remove the toxic culture?
Where do they get this stuff? What documented evidence is there to to justify sacking a successful coach? When has FFA used percieved toxic culture of a successful team to justify sacking a coach? Do FFA have toxic culture as the first thing they look at when assessing whether a coach renews his contract? Do FFA even have toxic culture issues as a major factor when hiring coaches?
If FFA are setting a precedent of sacking a succesful coach ,because toxic culture is now the most important issue when assessing performance of a coach, then when is an internal audit of all coaches being performed? If not then why was an audit performed of the Matilda's ? When future coaches select teams will they now have to pick the best cultured team rather than the best team at winning? Where are the guidelines for stepping through the toxic culture/ winning culture divide? How often will audits be taken to assess toxicity? How many unhappy players constitute toxicity? Are audits taken before or after a loss?
Will Scientology be incorporated into toxic analysis by using E-Meters to determine personal happiness?
If anyone thinks this is approaching lunacy, lets wait until tin foil hats become standard issue.

Was meant to add a /s with the Matilda’s telling lies. It’s a clusterfuck alright and I lay it all on Gallop. He burnt the Matilda’s brand and needs to be accountable.
