+xMabil with the most assists in the Superligaen this season, Karacic equal 2nd in the HNL. Bloody hell that's our right side sorted. Of course an assist counts with someone finishing it....

Tomi Juric has been banned from attending training with his club FC Luzern, and has been told he is free to look for another club, according to The World Game.
The manager’s comments imply it’s because he isn’t putting enough effort in at training and during matches, rather than any kind of behavioural/ill discipline issue.
I kind of agree when you look at Juric’s recent national team performances. Nabbout, JMac etc are always running and chasing down defenders when they don’t have the ball, whereas recently Juric just walks around waiting for someone else to win the ball back.

Must be some pretty serious stuff going on for Juric surely. Dropped altogether from the national team, and now cut from his club side, both due to poor effort and attitude.

Vuka starting against Slavia Prague, Europa League round of 32
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Knee injury Clean sheet for Vuka. Genk should win the second leg.

2 metre tall, 18 year old number 8 Dylan Collard has just finished third in the south group of the Portuguese U19 league behind only Benfica and Sporting CP with Tondela (same team Ansell played seniors for). They'll now progress to the eight team, 14 game long championship round. No way of saying how many games he's played.

Couldn't see anything on my usual sources, it'd be good to add another.

The number of Aussies listed as getting so few minutes proves the need for new A league teams and even a second division. No need to have an in depth discussion here as we've flogged it to death elsewhere.
The player recycling is so frustrating when others could and might want to come home to play more often.

Jeggo with a 68th minute red card, leaving his team down to nine men after an earlier red, allowing a 2-1 win for third tier Grazer AK in the Austrian Cup quarter final.

Scott McDonald isn't done yet; he's just signed for Partick Thistle.
I believe he supported the Team 11 bid being from down that way, pity they didn't get in.

+xWow, Juric got the realtiy check he needs. does he need a reality check? He seems to have made mature career decisions, avoiding chinese money, not leaving the a league too quickly, going to a club his level He also scored the asian cup winning goal and put in a crucial performance against Saudi arabia. Apart from the few months leading up to the world cup he has been decent for the roos

Kruse starting. If they can win today they'll be the best of the rest and a run of wins will see them just near the playoff spot. Wishful thinking.

Button gets the nod again in the FA Cup. As things are going, Ryan probably wouldn't be played if they made the final. It'd be quite the harsh decision if Button got them all the way.

+xAmini full 90 in 2:0 win. Luongo starting vs Watford in FA Cup. Genreau bench. Did Denis play? Will be interesting to see if he remains at PEC now that JVS is gone or gets a look in for another Eredivisie club. Cant imagine he'd want to come back to play under Joyce after all that has happened.
