+x+xRumour only Hearing the chair lynn andersonSon is some how linked 2 takePays job as head coach If so i be ropeable even wait& give pay a chance see whatHappens it a big rumour a lot Of my mates txing me on thisBut i have no idea if so Weidler reported it i think. No f'n chance i would say. 1st of all Hill is talking about extending Pay and 2ndly that would almost be political suicide for the Andersons. Lynn is way too smart to even consider such a move. Pay is going OK so far IMO and deserve at least another season or 2 to see if he has the goods. I'm not sure what Anderson has to offer, surely if we were looking to change coach we would look around for an experienced alternative. If we are looking for a rookie coach, with good personality and string club connections, we already have that. When has anything Weidler written about the Dogs ever been close to the truth? More or less never.

Pay is not under pressure for now. Could you imagine if they appointed their son and it didn't go well. They would all be out the door in no time. Weidler just talking rubbish as usual.

Let me recount an actual story which is true. I know Julie...Lynn Andersons sister...don't see her often but always have a chat when I do...last time was probably November...she told me and I quote "They all love Deano" which in the context of the conversation meant the board and the players. FACT.

I suspect there may be some push to get young Anderson into a lower grade coaching role with a view to him doing an apprenticeship. Of course this doesnt sell news, but if you exaggerate the long term goal or ambition you can make a compelling story of nepotism. Now that sells.

Don't know what he's doing now.

So Dman’s mate Greenberg is tossing up the idea of giving Salary Cap relief to clubs that have stood down players due to pending court cases.... WTF!!!

I did the NRL.com stream registration a little while ago. They only want to know your email, full name, date of birth, postcode & that's about it. A verification email & you're done. I should've waited until tomorrow, I'm blinded by some of the haircuts (which are arguably bringing the game into disrepute). Seems to be an uninteresting Storm v Warriors trial. Close finish though...

Pay to start Cogger ahead of Lewis tomorrow night it seems
Also, Montoya/Smith one side, with Mrs Dman/Crichton on the other side
Hoppa starts at fullback
Very interesting selections for our one n only trial.... Go Dogs

The NRLol are in an unenviable position with this one... No matter what choice they make it'll be wrong... At least they're used to getting it wrong so that should soften the blow for Tough Talking Toddy and chestBeattie...

New version of Crocket going to be played in England... The Hundred 100 balls each, bowlers can bowl 5 or 10 ball overs (max 20 balls)... 25 ball power play.... Must say those extra 6 and a bit overs in T20 crocket were making the game drag on too long... ;)

They played some years ago. It was one on one..fielders would be provided. Would it be something for allrounders or could a batsman or bowler triumph? The 2 players would bowl perhaps 5 overs to each other (or until they got the other out) and then swap, The person with the most runs would go to next round and the loser eliminated. Could also be played as double wicket

D'man has got me on a cricket bent...I used to go to Bankstown Oval in the mid 60s to see the grade cricket...there were hardly any fixtures so test cricketers would often play....not to mention a lefty by the name of Les Johns...who played for maybe 3 years with Bankstown. Anyway one of the Bankstown veterans was one Bruce Urry...referred to as Bubba by his teammates due his built for comfort physique/ I recall Bruce doing very well in a rare single wicket contest in the mid 70s. For aficionados here is an all time grade cricket list. Bubba is there as are a few other Bankstown boys such as Scott Thompson. Bubba's time in grade was against a lot of Test players so his figures are good. Was a very affable person. https://www.cricketnsw.com.au/news/michael-wood-reaches-milestone-for-parramatta/2012-02-22

Following each other, enthusiastic backing up, promoting the ball, quick ptb, taking the right options....it makes a bloody BIG difference to your gameplan....luck follows you.

Were Canberra playing with an NRL standard line up? Canberra commentators said a "few new faces" but all their regulars on the field from what I could tell. Our quick ball movement the difference. We started safety first one out usual stuff but they have gained in entbusiasm and ball skills. We have options!
