+x+x+x+x+xReckon Rogic will follow Rodgers to Leicester ? Leaves Arzani in a bit of a pickle perhaps too Not really Rodgers never wanted him. Was a boatd signing. Plus Lennon being thpically british manager likes tricky fasr wingers and solid ball winning centre mids. Its a player like rogic that lennon cant really wrap his head around tactically although rogic is so much of a figure at celtic that theres no way he wouldnt plat him Yeah, no. Lennon knows how to use players like Rogic. Tactically, Lennon is very, very sound. Hahahaha ???

Plus Lennon being thpically british manager likes tricky fasr wingers and solid ball winning centre mids. Its a player like rogic that lennon cant really wrap his head around tactically although rogic is so much of a figure at celtic that theres no way he wouldnt plat him lennon has been shit to so many australians. he froze out rogic and brattan. he publicly shat on jmac when hibs went to shit. if i was arzani or rogic i would have started looking as soon as lennon got deal. i dont know how lennon got this job after his string of failures since he left celtic. it's a fkn merri go round. Oh please. Rogic was out injured for most of the time. As for Brattan, what did Lennon do to him?? With regards to Maclaren... What did Lennon single out Maclaren for?? I know he had called out (publicly) the whole team on their lack of consistency (especially against the weaker teams), but personally singling out Maclaren I don't remember. As for "string of failures", what were those, Bolton?? His time at Hibs wasn't a "failure", far from it. you're only defending him because he's the celtic coach. you only need to flick through this very thread to see the frustrations of aus fans with players under his management string of failures is a bit harsh but both jobs ended in misery ▪Re "defending Lennon because he is Celtic's manager"... I am not defending Lennon because he is Celtic's manager. If he has done something that warrants criticism then so be it. Yet, to make a statement like "Lennon froze out Rogic", is BS. Rogic not playing was due to his injuries and being out injured. It had nothing to do with anything that Lennon did or did not do. Lennon even allowed Rogic to go out on loan to Melbourne with Rogic hoping for a World Cup squad spot - But again it was Rogic's injuries that caused him to miss out. As for Brattan and Bolton/Lennon, I don't know what the story was, hence I asked. You said "you only need to flick through this very thread to see the frustrations of aus fans with players under his management". Yes I have read the frustrations throughout this thread, but it isn't just with Lennon. It is also with other managers/teams who do not play Australian players more then what they do. Could it be that some members on this board rate some Australian players higher then what they really are?? It is the manager who sees the players day-in-day-out at trainning. Surely they have a better idea then most as to were the player really is compared to others in the squad?? ▪You said he "he publicly shat on jmac", what did he say?? What did he personally call Maclaren out on?? As I said, I know Lennon called out the whole team publicly with regards to their lack of consistency, but personally singling out Maclaren, I don't remember, so please fill me in. ▪Finally on "string of failures since he left celtic". Ok, you changed it a wee bit to - "string of failures is a bit harsh but both jobs ended in misery". Again, I don't know what happened while at Bolton, so please fill me in. As for Hibs... He won the Championship easily earning promotion in his first season. Followed that up with a top 4 finish in the SPFL and qualified for the Europa League. As for this season, up until his bizarre exit/firing/whatever you call it. Hibs were still battling for another top 4 finish and another Europa League qualification. - So failure is far from it.

Raschica at Bremen is the next Rogic like player making it in the bundesliga. It's uncanny that players with Balkan roots have that kind of style.
Would love nothing more than Mainz or a promoted Hamburg to pick up Rogic. Hamburg ruins everyone but it'd be worth the risk.

Genreau bench. Looks like another Antonis situation now.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

+xGenreau bench. Looks like another Antonis situation now. Have they changed manager? He did very well in pre season against good opposition. He was average in the initial phase of the season but the whole team was.

Dutch-born Bouman, who was raised in Sydney, has been on the books of Groningen since 2014 when he joined as a teenager.
Now 20, the midfielder has caught the eye this season for Groningen’s Under-23s. Bouman has bagged eight goals and four assists in just 15 appearances. He has trained with the first-team several times and the Manly United junior is working hard towards a debut for Danny Buijs’ side. Playing as a number 10, in central midfield and even on the left wing on occasion, Bouman has caught the eye over the past seven months. “This season has definitely been one of my better ones at Groningen,” Bouman told The World Game. “I’ve definitely been performing well and I’ve been picking up quite a lot of goals, which is going well.
At the beginning of the season I had a few injuries, I missed a couple of matches but then got back on the pitch and got a place in the starting XI, and since then I haven’t really lost it.

What... he's probably played 50% of the games since he joined, subbed off the vast majority he did play... score some goals but go missing in many. I don't deny his class but his turnout has been pretty poor. Just for interests sake who's more revered at Celtic? Viduka, Rogic or McDonald... ? All of which have had major issues with fans either before or during their time there.

This shocking incident happened in the Villa game. The bloke who did it is a fucking coward, ran up behind him and hit him in the back of the head. The dickhead then started to celebrate and blow kisses to the crowd when being taken off the field. https://mobile.twitter.com/SoccerAM?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%Serious question: If Grealish was to belt the fan back, would he get a red or would the ref let him off because he was attacked?

Yeah that’s the common sense thing to do but I wouldn’t be surprised if he could be sent off for violent conduct if he were to retaliate.

He'd be no better than the thug if he retaliated and would deserve a sending off at least. He did exactly the right thing. He showed class. There is retaliation, and then there is self defence. I would never blame someone from defending themself if they get king hit from a stranger who shouldn't be there, has gone out of his way to come attack you and could theoretically have a weapon (you don't know). He could have been seriously injured but would we rather just say "stay there and let yourself be attacked until a steward comes and helps" In this context, thankfully he didn't need to defend himself as the bloke ran off and anything else would be pure retaliation. But it would be a sad day that someone gets punished for reasonable acts of self defence.
