HA.  Thinking that the Democrats are against that.

The genuine left-wingers like Bernie are against that.

The corporate centrists like Hillary (who in Australia would be well and truly right-wing) are for it though.

With regards to what?

Your "broflakes" is a pejorative, like "Incels" Man Baby's, "Angry White Males etc. Example of ad hom attacks the Left likes to use because they have nothing else.  Do you think these "Angry White Males" will just cease to exist that way? Do you think that approach is making things better or worse?

It's not innuendo.  It's a direct insult.

Just for the record do you believe the Christchurch shootings were either staged with crisis actors or a false flag operation?

I'll wait.

Eventually when the opponent is challenged or questioned, it means the victim’s investment and thus his intelligence is questioned, no one can accept that. Not even to themselves.

Do you think that approach is making things better or worse?

The problem for some men (I have my own theories as to what kind of people they are) is that when one group of people (in this case women) rise to equal status (or attempt to rise) then all of a sudden their whole world view and their expectations of that world comes crashing down.  (Not surprising because anyone my age or older grew up in a completely different world where women really were 2nd class citizens.  Anyone younger than me had parents that lived in that world.)

And guess what they're resentful.  And they don't like it.

I really don't care about 'angry white males' or whether it's the right approach.  When the civil rights movement enabled black americans equal rights and opportunities that didn't exist before there were 10's of thousand of white men that were disenfranchised because black people were now 'intruding' on what was their protected little patch of turf.  Pushing them out of jobs, taking their places at university, making sports teams etc.

Well so what?!   .

As that lady said on TV the other day (and I'm paraphrasing) when they run an anti-racism campaign on TV as a white person I'm not offended but when they run a feminism campaign (or a Gillette ad) blokes lose their shit.

I get it.  A woman on equal footing, competing for your job, earning the same money, getting that promotion over you, getting all uppity with their 'opinions', pushing you out of your cosseted little cubby house is upsetting for some blokes.

What a bummer for them.

Enzo really showing his hand here imo

What hand would that be?

Sanders likes to promise social and economic equality modelled on the Nordic States like Denmark.

https://edition.cnn.com/2016/02/17/politics/bernie-sanders-2016-denmark-democratic-socialism/index.html

So he wants an outcome like this:

http://cphpost.dk/news/denmarks-wealth-inequality-gap-continues-to-widen.html

All animals are equal, but some more equal than others.  That's the equality Socialism gives.

Rather than emotive argument lets look at the facts:

When you have this:

https://melbourne-cshe.unimelb.edu.au/lh-martin-institute/insights/gender-enrolment-trends-flarkins

and this

https://www.apsc.gov.au/employment-gender

and the fact women now outnumber men in virtually every profession,

that is not equality.

You're entitled to you simplistic view, bu these men aren't going away because you called them a few names.

l'll leave the last words to a Professor Emeritus:

"The male participation gender imbalance has consequences for Australian society, including cultural and wealth distribution changes. While celebrating strong female participation further proactive strategies are required to encourage more males to complete year 12 studies and attend universities."

Are fricken kidding me?  Company directors. FFS  How many of those are there?  Most men will never become one.  OTOH the APS employees nearly TWO million workers.  Who cares that few higher-echelon men or women don;'t become a directos.  Nearly everyone never will.  Its a stupid example.

The WGEA has zero credibility given its utterly baseless Gender Wage Gap claims.

Everything.  It means we're evolving as a society.

No we aren't.

And you're still missing the point.  Smarter people than me or you like a Prof Emeritus who has the education and intelligence see the problem. You can;t ignore these "angry white men".  There's too many being sidelined.  They aren't going away.  No matter what name you call them.

Not sure why you can't answer a simple question.  You intimated you thought the whole thing was a scam.  Just have the guts to completely out yourself.

What are you actually afraid off?

You either have the strength of your convictions and can nail your colours to the cross or you don't.

Why would anyone bother to respond to someone who gets their kicks from throwing around insults and making pejorative remarks, least of all on a topic that does not belong in a sporting forum (there are other venues for this) but it just highlights how big the divide is in society, how so many have been duped by the media and how political agendas creep into all areas of society. (Was hesitant to add my two cents to this thread but perhaps I care a little too much about people being blinded from reality)

In any case, what I think is not important, it is what YOU believe that matters.

There is something about yourself that you don’t know. Something that you will deny even exists, until it’s too late to do anything about it. It’s the only reason you get up in the morning. The only reason you suffer the shitty puss, the blood, the sweat and the tears. This is because you want people to know how good, attractive, generous, funny, wild and clever you really are. Fear or revere me, but please, think l’m special.

Ego gratification: your an approval junkie.

I despise the far right.

And detest the far left.

I despise the far right because of their intolerance, lies and misinformation.

I detest the far left because of their intolerance, lies and misinformation.

Common to both their ignorance and lack of knowledge

The far right often uneducated and so are unwittingly ignorant

The far left are often educated and so are willfully ignorant.
