+x+x+xWill also say the coaches are all over the disinclination of refs and particular touch judges to call a forward passes... 'Letting the game flow' see us move closer to what we used to laugh about re union rulings... 4 refs on the field, a multi million dollar bunker and can't get the most obvious of forward passes right... 'Let the game flow' at the price of the games integrity... #todd&comustgo... #dismantlethearlc... Fans are alwsys going to whinge about refs. I agree on forward passes, but let the game flow, I'm not whinging, I'm stating fact... And if I'm whinging its about the nrlol not the refs... They've made it almost impossible for these blokes to ref to the rules... The game flowed just fine without the chest beating nrlol pretending they're doing something... Letting the game flow will further increase the gap between the haves and have nots... What stopped the game flowing was the nrlol allowing the wrestle to go as far as it did... You want the game to flow? Penalise the crap out of defences that don't break when held is called.. The coaches will figure it out soon enough...

While NRLol wanted to feed the bvllshit line about it being the closest comp ever last year, it really it applied to the top eight... The gap between the top and bottom 8s was as wide if not wider than ever... Its as a result if inability to enforce the cap, the TPA fort, and making refs rule according to whichever mandate happens to suit that week... The gap is as wide as ever and the NRLol has admitted as much by suggesting the ridiculous 7-10th playoff for finals... #todd&comustgo..#dismantlethearlc... #superleague2.0...

Not adjudicating to rules, refs who have zero respect on field puts us further away than ever from traditional football than ever... The game would flow as it should if the teams that are consistently allowed to get away with deliberate penalties (professional fouls), laying in the ruck, and wrestling were penalised to the hilt...

Exactly right, coaches like Bellamy and Robinson have been using the wsy the game was refed in the past. Des exploited it for a while before the rules changed. What I like about the game flowing is players have more of a say in the outcome. We got a bad rap from the refs for the past 3 seasons, this year can't be worse. The best way to win more games is play better, it is that simple.

They were beaten by better teams but once momentum is shifted in favour of the smarties who use gamesmanship better, along with ref bias, then the game will be out of control again, a resultant public and media outcry and there ya go, another mid yesr intervention by Greenberg and sidekick

So the gummies self reported 75k and the real total was 993k. No way in the world should they have the 2016 title. Always despised the druggo, cap cheating scum and always will.

To compensate for the defence having to retreat 10 metres players are able to hold the player down a little longer and have another movement after " held" is called. This enables wrestling and along with differential tackles ensures inconsistency. With a 5 metre rule and immediate release there would be a lot more plays in a game resulting in more football and more tries. Also only the better kickers would flourish. The way it is now, it sometimes seems like some sort of free kick has been awarded. The boring 12345 kick may be replaced with some football

Players would have to line out deep and run onto the ball and there would be so many more chip kicks and little kicks through the line instead of the boring 5 hitups then a long kick time after time. Steve Mortimer has always hated the 10 metre rule and he is 100% right.

The boring 12345 kick may be replaced with some football Its playing a part... Not making the players stand to ptb, play it with their foot, or play it square, in addition to allowing at least one forward pass from DH a set also has an impact on limited time for defenders to get back the 10... I reckon I've seen more balls played at 45 degrees in 14 games than I did all last year...

+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+xWill also say the coaches are all over the disinclination of refs and particular touch judges to call a forward passes... Especially our have not club...who get reffed under the old rules. We do need a fair go more than most. Letting the game flow will lead to more uneven games, but games are more interesting to watch and more like traditional football. Rubbish... NRLol had it right last year with the crackdown, I actually applauded the move... If they had the balls to go through with the mandate for a season the game would flow as it should, not via mandated ignorance of the rules that suits coaches like Bellamy and Robinson... The new edict will suit Melbourne and Easts more than anyone... The let it flow thing is not new, its an extension of the crap that has frustrated fans for so long now... The not attempting to play the ball with your foot, stand to play it, or be square are already out if control 14 games in... Seriously just change the rules to suit the way they want it to be reffed and I'll shut up... But don't have rules in place and ignore em... Letting the game flow, i.e. ignoring the rules on an ad hoc basis leads to inconsistency and inevitably a perception of bias. And we all know how it's gonna play.put disadvantaging the B teams. I've only wstched 2 games and thought Cows and Titans got "ref influenced" out of the game enough to always be on the back foot. They were beaten by better teams but once momentum is shifted in favour of the smarties who use gamesmanship better, along with ref bias, then the game will be out of control again, a resultant public and media outcry and there ya go, another mid yesr intervention by Greenberg and sidekick I wonder if the ten metre rule is actually contributing to the problem. Players would have to line out deep and run onto the ball and there would be so many more chip kicks and little kicks through the line instead of the boring 5 hitups then a long kick time after time. Steve Mortimer has always hated the 10 metre rule and he is 100% right. There are also too many "easy" metres with the 10 metre rule. Dummy half runs or one pass hit ups overwhelm the game. While I'm having a whinge I also hate that the contest for the ball has been taken out of the game. It was a fundamental part of the game. Maybe I'm just getting old and cranky

I like Brett Morris..... but I was surprised he opened his trap during the week on Ch9 about his time at the Dogs & mentioned the speculation about players was the reason to his average form.

I read with interest the other day about who’s off contract in 2019 at the Dogs..... Marki’s mate Tolman was on the list
If that’s the case.... and with the Dogs short on fire power/x-factor grunt in the engine room..... why don’t we splash the cash & get TPJ from the Broncos!
With Our salary caps woes hopefully over at the end of this year, surely that should see us land at least 2 decent players & at least 1 marquee player for 2020?

They already tried to sign that guy. I don't know the details of the offer, suffice to say he signed (or was it extended?) with Broncos...
