George Timotheou came on as a 63rd-min. sub for Schalke in their Antonio Puerta Trophy win over Sevilla at the Pizjuán. He's 21yo, begging the question did Arnie even think to call him up for the Olyroos??

finally good to hear a couple players being linked with moves o/s.
Mabil to Besiktas could be either brilliant or terrible. Canadian Intl, Cyle Larin went there from the MLS and hasn't really done much...
Piscopo being linked with Serie B clubs is exactly what he needs, Renate look like they will go down so that would be great for him!
On George Timotheou, if he can somehow make the Matchday squad for Schalke's first team, when it isn't the international break, then questions should be asked about his Olyroos or Socceroos selection, he is playing fifth tier football for the Schalke reserves at the moment but this is obviously a very good sign!
Graham Arnold is Timotheou's ex coach, who released him to the NPL, i dunno if they left on good terms, but If i was him I wouldn't wanna play under him.

One of these commentators on the couch on Optus Sports just chose Maty Ryan as his fantasy team GK. Big raps

That says it all, alongside not calling up any of Antonis, Troisi or Deng, who handed his arse to him in that semi final, there can be no doubt that Arnie lets his grudges get in the way of squad selection.

It says you have an agenda against Arnie. Arnie called up and gave Deng his debut just before the Asian cup too. Most people wouldn't have called up Troisi and Antoinis for the Asian Cup anyway.

Burgess started Jeggo's playing against Zenit St Petersburg, good chance on goal but keeper saved
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

I watch a lot of U9/10s football in Melbourne West and I've never seen a keeper that good. Wish you all the best

Since you guys have been so supportive here is the U11 Crystal Palace FC vs SV Wehen Wiesbaden game. It's on a private link so you wont be able to find it online. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0Vmb9I1ZOwNoah makes a costly mistake but he told me he lost sight of the ball as the big Palace player moved in front of him. But he makes up for it later. Both keepers were actually U10.The Palace U11 keeper was ill so the U10 Keeper filled in for him.

I'm sure Piscopo is getting a decent apprenticeship at Renate but it is Serie C. I think we'll need to be patient like with Ikon and should see him hit it in about 3 years rather than 1.

I reckon CFG might put in a cheeky offer for Piscopo and look to on-sell him like Arzani.

Piscopo is far better off staying in the Italian system than coming back to Australia. First of all Serie C is the same level as the A-league, but with far more intensity and training. He could make the jump up to Serie B in one season and possibly find himself in the Serie A before he's 25. If he comes back to Australia, he'd receive half-assed training and the longest off-season in the world.

A lot of good players still don't play. It can be very hard to get ahead. If he is to progress he needs to secure a move where he will get minutes.

I watched the match against a ultra defensive Sagan Tosu. First half wasn't much action but Marinos hit the cross bar twice in the second. Take the point but two points dropped I think.

+xStarts for Milligan, Degenek, McGing, Karacic, Beadling Good news. Glad for McGing. His club are in a bit of trouble this season but did very well last season if I recall correctly. Beadling is another centre back who'll one day probably get his 1 Roos cap. We've had so many over the years.

Wisla Plock's other RB Cezary Stefańczyk is actually serving a long term ban for raising his hand at the ref when disputing a decision so McGing has next to no chance of getting dropped.
