Ryan Kent just hit (or at least attempted to hit ) Brown in the face but the refs missed it. That would be a red everyday of the week if they saw it. Could be a multi game ban too.

If yes again - Yeah, I guess he can be read that way. He is a firery competitor who plays hard, and someone who a̶l̶w̶a̶y̶s̶ a lot of the time, finds a way to get under his opponents skin. It's nothing new. Happens to him all the time.

wow Sainsbury came on in the 72nd minute game 1-1 and ajax were down to 10 men and ended up losing 3-1 :(
unsure how much he was at fault but Ajaxs 2nd goal was a penalty and their 3rd goal was last minute likely when all players were up field chasing the draw.

After disappointing us for so long it’s come as a bolt from the blue to see him getting game time.
He hasn’t been playing much over the years so his match fitness must be low.
But if he can keep getting minutes for the last 5 matches of the year and has a good preseason, surely he is a shoe-in for the Olyroos squads.

I checked his cameo out in detail. Only scary moment was when he ran a bit too fast and the striker, moving to get into a position, nudged him out behind the goal line creating a good passing lane which wasn't capitalised on. Otherwise he passed out from the back and trotted along while being attacked with no sprints. Body language was careless. The goal saw the other defenders beaten but Sainsbury was fairly close and could have sprinted to pressure the passer.
