+x+x+xFoxsports nrl. Bulldog nick meany set 2 be out for a while canterbury cup side ray fatalia marnier injured after 1 minute came straight off not looking good Looks like we are getting thumped in reserve grade, no big surpise some good players in the Souths side. We can't do much about injuries, the team is well prepared and well managed. I am curious to find out how the young fullback goes in reserves, he may have potential. Why did we announce our top 30 NRL squad before the season even started? I think you only had to name 28 or 29 wasn’t it? We may not have much $$ in our cap, but clearly our backline needs strengthening ASAP, leaving that 30th spot open could’ve opened the door for a mid season signing. So with Meaney looking likely he’s out..... that’ll mean Hoppa to No1.... (vomit) Montoya will get a saloon passage back into the top grade. FMD..... Is Meaney really out? Last I heard he was having scans, I would be surprised if we could get that done over the Easter weekend. Our NRL and reserve grade squads look "a bit odd the pace" compared to the stronger teams. I think we have 30 in our NRL squad, but have some development spots... We may need to release some players to sign more players.... We could try Holland at fullback ,defence is optional in that position... As to why we named 30, my guess is we didn't have a lot of money to spend in any case... signings were always dependent on someone leaving.

Have no idea why they played RFM should have saved him for next week. MCL don't how bad yet.

This year it is a case of operating within budget, we have some money to spend, but if we sign good young development players, they can play NRL after June 30. We can move CHN to the centres, but if RFM and Elliott are inured we might even be short of backrowers... If things don't come good soon, the NRL shoudl give cap relief. The year the target is to improve overall by the end of the season.... The Cows are beatable, even if we cobble together a team, 1 week at a time...

What was your opinion of the Souths no 9?.... He is a kind of organising 9, more like Cam Smith than Cook, no chance of playing regular NRL anytime soon at Souths. JMK has been going well for us, I am happy with most of the spine, Lichaa off the bench offers nothing.

JMK could play 14 .. he is one player I would go all in to sign and bring that big Souths prop with him.... that guy is a fridge... (in fact I would serve away from him and run into the fridge ..).

The 9 does the job in defence, his attack including kicking game is his real strength.

We have a prop in Ball ... Mosese Pope, huge kid and very talented. Hope they keep him. Watched him come up through the juniors the last couple years. Bad luck that the Ball side got beat with a last second field goal. Matts won easily though, our only win this week.

Even if it doesn't work out you drop them back and they know what is needed to go to the next level. If we keep the best players coming through our system we will be fine. I hate having reserve grade full of reserve graders that will only ever be reserve graders, or someone else's duds. Then watching our good players playing NRL somewhere else... gee we bought some duds and let some good players go in the last 5 years.

There are multiple players in the rep teams that are at least a year younger than the age limit. They are trying to fast track them playing against older players. All this takes time unfortunately.

+x+x+x+x+xWe have a prop in Ball ... Mosese Pope, huge kid and very talented. Hope they keep him. Watched him come up through the juniors the last couple years. Bad luck that the Ball side got beat with a last second field goal. Matts won easily though, our only win this week. Yeah I like the fact that we are giving good you kids an early shot at NSW Cup. Even if it doesn't work out you drop the m back and they know what is needed to go to the next level. If we keep the best players coming through our system we will be fine. I hate having reserve grade full of reserve graders that will only ever be reserve graders, or someone else's duds. There are multiple players in the rep teams that are at least a year younger than the age limit. They are trying to fast track them playing against older players. All this takes time unfortunately. Nancy.... give us some good Bulldogs news please?? Anything?? The Matts side won and are in the prelim final what more good news do you need Villi? ...... Okay here's what you have been hoping for ..... Michael has re-signed for a further 4 years at 2.8mil.

Wow, I just read about Bennet blowing up about the referees. What the fk is that d!ckhead on about, I mean his team was the ones who got the benefit of all the dodgy calls on Friday. I think he must be p!ssed that we exposed the wabbits weaknesses or his coaching shortfalls.

I think he must be p!ssed that we exposed the wabbits weaknesses or his coaching shortfalls. I raise him a disallowed try against Dutchy and a penalty against Remis Smith for starters plus stepping off the mark on every tackle and attack on our half back by Burgess who objected to a good legal tackle. As each week passes I feel it is a one horse race.
