+xThe stars are the major flaw something that represents HAL, NPL and community. not a fan regardless of the stars but its better than the wanderers logo.

Great colours. My kid and I are finishing off a bmx we've been building in those colours. Looking mint.
What's the regions long association with bulls? Cows used to invade and conquer then flogged the joint out til it was good for nothing land and is now being turned into 3 star housing estates?

The stars are an abomination.
Why didn’t they get someone who knows about football to help design the crest.
Rest of it is o.k without being great.

I don't know if you just made that up but pretty much yes  It's actually a pretty cool story. Some cows escaped from the first fleet and started breeding out there.

That's a yikes from me.
Which is a shame as that 'poster' is usually on the money when it comes to a lot of issues.

Stars don't make sense - even just a football to fill the space would have better - as much as that seems unpopular around here. But given an A League license seems to give a mandate for people to think up the stupidest club names imaginable they've otherwise done well. Active area to be called the Bullpen ?

Unfortunately it's pretty much just our modern history except with more sheep. Great name, I'm just not at all inspired by cows and sheep, neither male or female ones, they've wrecked the joint as they've been let loose to all corners. Not too fussed as they're not my team anyway but I also reckon bulls would make shitty footballers.

Macarthur FC indigenous football academy.
Macarthur FC were pleased to announce today that they would create the first indigenous football academy in the A-League. Professor John Maynard will chair the indigenous advisory panel (another first) which will help guide the academy to developing and nurturing young indigenous players in our great game. Professor Maynard was pleased to announce the first three partners in the Academy would be the University of Western Sydney, Campbelltown City Council and the Walker Corporate Foundation.

Facebook Superb stuff. I noticed that they had a local Aboriginal elder in the launch video, so they have got that aspect right. The more I think about it, I really think they got the branding for this team spot on. The logo will also help them expand their support base down the Hume Highway and into the Southern Highlands. Can’t wait to see the kit.

Like the name, logo and colours. Well done to everyone involved. I can see this club being successful on and off the park unlike WUFC.

This club seems to be doing all the right things, especially considering they have so much time on their hands. They haven't sat back and have instantly connected with their local community which is a great move. Hopefully they keep this up. I hope they don't sell out and become Macarthur Red Bulls in future though 😂
