So Celtic go with Neil Lennon as their manager. It will be interesting to see if Rogic stays, I assume he will for at least six months. Shows Celtic don't have the ambition by repppointing a guy like Lennon. I doubt they will qualify for the Champions League with him in charge.

Mariners should be throwing the kitchen sink at Jedinak - if they want to turn that club around they need him even if only for a season.

+xYokohama F Marinos jump up to second on the table after a 2-1 win at Shonan in the Kanagawa derby. That's three wins in a row in the league for Ange and only 3 points off ladder leaders FC Tokyo who play tomorrow as does the rest of the league. That is amazing. Top job Ange.

With that said, Lennon does have a better record with Celtic in the Champions League then that of Rodgers.

If Ange wins the J-League that Fozzy interview might go even more viral through japan! Lol

Big error from Langerak (5:18) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVPLeebxDT0
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Damn, poor Langerak. All the goals he conceded in that match looked to be errors 🙈

Tagz was subbed off at half time with his team down 1-0.
They came back to equalise later in the match with the game finishing 1-1.

Good to hear about Ange, looks like he needed the first year to suss out the team and bring in a few players of his own like he did at the Roar.

Thanks guys - yes I believe it's at Nissan Stadium - probably why I was able to secure a few tickets because of the size. Last time I was in japan I went to Urawa without a ticket which was a bad idea - luckily me and my mate found some scalpers. I've been critical of Ange in the past so hopefully he shuts me up :)

Matthew Davies played a full 90 for Malaysia in their 7-1 win over East Timor.

Was it Jesse Curran Ferns who was talked on an article on here a while back, remember him playing in Thailand or Malaysia if I recall.
Anyhow just seem the line line up for Port Melbourne v south Melbourne, Port Melbourne have a player named Curran Ferns, unsure as to whether it is the same person.

Maybe you’re getting confused with Jesse Curran who plays for Dundee in Scotland.

Big drop from Thai 1 to NPL 1? yeah, I think he played NPL in Queensland before he left to play in Asia. Only thing he's got going is that he's a pretty massive bloke so he would've been good for those Asian leagues.

Curran struggled in Thailand, his team [Sukhothai] went on a long stretch of poor form not long after he signed. He got his pants pulled down [figure of speech] in the game against Port FC, the Thai league was a giant step up from where he was playing in Malaysia. If he didn't have a Malaysian passport, there's no way he'd have ever have played professionally in Malaysia or Thailand, he's very average imo.

I think Malaysia he's good enough for tbf, as he counts as a local player. But if he counts towards an import quota... no way!
