yeah, I think he played NPL in Queensland before he left to play in Asia. Only thing he's got going is that he's a pretty massive bloke so he would've been good for those Asian leagues.

Curran struggled in Thailand, his team [Sukhothai] went on a long stretch of poor form not long after he signed. He got his pants pulled down [figure of speech] in the game against Port FC, the Thai league was a giant step up from where he was playing in Malaysia. If he didn't have a Malaysian passport, there's no way he'd have ever have played professionally in Malaysia or Thailand, he's very average imo.

well there you go... he wasn't good for those asian leagues.

I think Malaysia he's good enough for tbf, as he counts as a local player. But if he counts towards an import quota... no way!
