+xMarconi look like they're concentrating on the Cup. Their NPL form has been woeful of late. they get rid of pava and win 2 from 2. for as good as he can be, he can also be a head case in the dressing room. we witnessed that at Sydney United.
Not a Phase, Not a Trend, SYDNEY UNITED till the END!

The Round of 32 fixtures will be played over three (3) match days (Tuesday or Wednesday) between the 23 July – 7 August with the Round of 16 to be played on two (2) match days between 20 August – 28 August. The Quarter Finals have been condensed to one-week (two (2) match days) to avoid Member Federation Grand Finals and congested periods and to assist Hyundai A-League clubs with their season preparations and will be played on two match nights between 17-18 September. The FFA Cup 2019 Semi Finals will revert back to midweek fixtures on 1-2 October, to avoid the NPL Finals Series and congested competition calendar. The FFA Cup Final 2019 will also be moved forward from last year to the evening of Wednesday, 23 October. The draw process and principles for the Round of 32 of the FFA Cup 2019 will be remain the same with the draw ceremony to be conducted LIVE on FOX SPORTS on Wednesday, 26 June 2019.

South Hobart qualify after beating Devonport, a shame as I’ve developed a soft spot for Devonport over the last couple of cup runs.
Devonport and South Hobart are becoming quite familiar faces of the cup however which is good to see.

South Hobart may have won the Milan Lakoseljac Cup on Monday June 10th and thus gained entry to the FFA Cup round of 32 competition as Tasmania’s representative but the club has yet to find a venue should they be drawn at home. Their home ground Darcy Street has a suitable surface but no floodlights. FFA Cup Round of 32 games are always scheduled for Tuesday or Wednesday nights and with no lights Darcy Street cannot be the venue. An alternative would normally be KGV Park and Olympia Warriors did play APIA Leichhardt there in 2017 also South Hobart did play Tuggeranong United there in 2014. But, the artificial surface at KGV Park is no longer deemed up to the standard required by Football Federation Australia and the floodlights certainly don’t meet the required standards. This has been evident for some time and has not been rectified. Other football grounds in southern Tasmania have better lighting and Lightwood Park is one such ground. At a media conference in Glenorchy today, South Hobart coach Ken Morton said it was disappointing that other sports had upgraded their facilities and football had not. He said hockey and AFL grounds had improved surfaces and lighting over the years since he arrived in Tasmania in 1979, but football had not. Morton said other potential venues for any South Hobart home game in the FFA Cup included the Twin Ovals in Kingston, North Hobart Oval, and Blundstone Arena at Bellerive. But, he said AFL grounds didn’t afford spectators as good a view of the game as purpose-built rectangular stadiums. “Darcy Street is a boutique stadium and a fantastic little ground and, if we had a crowd like the at Monday’s final, it would be buzzing,” Morton said. “It would be humming down at Darcy Street and it’d be a great venue for the home team. “But, unfortunately, it won’t happen because there are no lights there. “It is what it is, though, and we’ve got to move on and find ourselves another venue” Football Tasmania CEO Matt Bulkeley said an audit of football facilities in Tasmania was being conducted and shortfalls would be identified. Federal MP Andrew Wilkie did manage to obtain $1 million funding to improve facilities at Darcy Street prior to the federal election, but there simply would not be time to install proper flood-lighting before an FFA Cup match at the venue this year. Perhaps it won’t matter. South Hobart may not get a home draw. But, something has to be done because there’s always next year’s FFA Cup to consider.

+xwhen do the fixtures get released? Don't know the exact dates only the dates that the matches will be conducted on. The 16 matches in the Round of 32 will be held over three (3) weeks, across three match nights (either Tuesdays or Wednesdays), with between four to six matches per night beginning in the week of 23/24 July.

Would be interesting (doubt it will ever happen though) if Wagga City Wanderers or Riverina Rhinos ever win the ACT Federation Cup
