Clearly someone is unaware of the history of US foreign policy, especially in that part of the world. You also clearly are unaware of the events that led up to that point as well.

Also the US drone was in Iranian airspace which is a clear act of aggression from the US.

Firstly the rising tensions was down to the Iran nuclear deal. The Iranians followed the deal to a tee, yet the US pulled out of it and the US have now increased sanctions which have crippled Iran’s economy. In my opinion, the US is trying to enact regime change in Iran. There was absolutely no reason to pull out of the Iran deal and then impose crippling sanctions on them.

The US has even sent a Navy strike group to Iran, a clear act of US aggression. This was before the tankers were shot down and it wouldn’t surprise me if that incident is another Bay of Tonkin incident.

Yup. If the US didn’t back away from the Iran Deal, things would be fine. I think it was Trump wanting to destroy Obama’s achievements though, not a specific plan.

There were other incidents that led the USA to bolster their fleet in international waters, not in Iranian waters.

Blowing up two tankers and one of their drones in international waters and airspace is a provocative “come on, come and get us” and it didn’t work to the USA’s credit. So they now increased their stockpile of uranium as another up you. Yes the Iranians got pissed off for the Americans pulling out of the no nuclear deal because they had it good even though the Europeans stood to maintain the deal it is a nations right to agree or not agree.

The Iranians are supporters of terrorism and don’t have two thoughts in acting in line with international rule or human decency. The Iranians in this instance acted with destruction and violence in internationally used spaces, the Americans did not. The Iranians are the aggressors.

Regardless of whether the US fleets are in Iranian or international waters, they don’t need to be there and it’s an obvious attempt to provoke Iran. The drone was an obvious attempt to provoke Iran as well. I have serious doubts over whether Iran actually attacked them or not. To me, it seems like the US are trying to recreate the Gulf of Tonkin incident and even if they did attack them, it was still a response to US aggression.

As I said before, this is an obvious attempt by the US to force regime change in Iran.

The attack on the oil tankers (If they actually were done by Iran) was done AFTER the US sent a Navy strike team to the region which would indicate that if if Iran did the attack, then that would be in retaliation to what the US did.
