+x+xMakes me want to watch darwin Olympic’s game now You should mate. Somebody's leg may become detached from their body. Or a supporter may run onto the field with a chair*. (*Did happen when I was there.) Yeah I remember they used to play Hellenic v Olympic Games at the Showgrounds behind locked gates in the 90’s because of the crowd violence. Not many people but farken mad Greeks.

Have to say Bayswater's kit is quite schmick
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

The Adelaide Olympic player getting himself sent off after scoring for taking his shirt off, and then Floreat equalise lol. Comes on at half time, scores twice and snags a red. Cup magic.

Adelaide vs Floreat has provided the goods. Floreat winning by 2 goals at halftime. Floreat concede 3 goals in the first 10 or so minutes of second half to go behind. Goal scorer takes shirt off in celebration and gets sent off for second yellow. Floreat equalise.

I seem to recall the WA sides getting a lot of A League opponents and/or away ties in this comp since it's inception and struggling as a result.

Absolutely no skill shown in any game tonight, a lot of long balls and goals based on luck. Feel bad for the 2nd division new dawners.

NPL WA just isn't a very strong competition imo. And Perth Glory being really competitive most seasons backs that point up.

“FFA Cup 2019 Anthem Singer CompetitionWe’re looking for our next Anthem singer! With the preliminary rounds now done, and the Round of 32 set to kick-off, we’re on the hunt for the next star to sing the Australian National Anthem at the FFA Cup Final later this year. All you have to do is submit a video of you singing the first verse of the national anthem. We’ll then select a shortlist of the best entries that will be sent to our guest judge to choose the final winner! Who is this guest judge, you might be asking? Well, make sure you stay tuned to the FFA Cup social channels for the announcement. The chosen winner will receive: - The opportunity to sing the National Anthem at the FFA Cup Final 2019
- Airfares for the winner and a friend to the host city
- 1x night twin-share accommodation
- 2x tickets to the FFA Cup Final 2019
So what are you waiting for? Warm up those vocal chords and start practising and make sure you send in your entries!”

Cute idea, I like it. Nice to get someone from the football community to sing the anthem at the final, and a fun, cost-effective bit of social media promotion for the comp.
I'm sure people will call it plastic and hate it.

+xOlympic v Bayswater was a good game to watch. Some very good skills shown by Olympic. Yep, Olympic showed what they're capable of in the first hour and was nice football to watch, in my opinion. Disappointing to concede the two goals to Bayswater in the 2nd half, possibly a reflection of tired legs and missing first choice central defender Panzer. However, was a good bounce back after a sub-par showing against Mackay in last Sundays away game in Nth Qld. A good result for the youthful technical staff currently in place at Olympic. Bring on Round 16.

“He has won three national league titles and played for the Socceroos, but Joe Mullen would take just as much satisfaction from leading a bunch of part-timers to glory over the cash-rich Melbourne City in the FFA Cup.” https://mobile.abc.net.au/news/2019-07-25/part-time-adelaide-soccer-team-prepares-for-melbourne-city/11341788?pfmredir=sm

“Incredibly, it wasn't their first rodeo. Cooma has routinely taken trips to South America over the years to play friendlies against Boca Juniors, Argentinos Juniors and Chilean giants Colo Colo. For a team from a remote town with a population of less than 7000, it's mind-blowing company.”
