Just turned on the Campbelltown game.
This fixture looks hectic, love how chockers the ground looks and they are taking it up to them.

Some of Campbelltowns link up play has been superb. Great rotation in the front third. Kinda questionable pen for mine but they’ve been brilliant value

Doesn't seem to be that way.

Silvera is starting on the right and McGlinchey on the left. Tommy Oar plying in central midfield.

Edit: Lee Sang-Ho will probably play on the right when they're playing a 4123 like they're playing tonight. They have played a 442 diamond at the end of last season and in at least of their friendlies as well.

That's disgusting for football, especially considering that shit view is most probably the best view at that stadium.

Far better than Westpac, Optus Stadium, Spotless and I certainly don't need to bring up the SCG.

Around the same as Kardinia from the main stand, but better than Docklands from the lower level when the seats are out. Better than Adelaide Oval.

Obviously worse than a rectangular venue, but that goes without saying.

All I'll say is that I've experienced worse viewing angles and atmospheres at some A-League games.

Because those venues are just as disgusting. We really need to stay as far away as possible from these disgusting grounds.

Melbourne Victory needs to scrap all games at Etihad including the derby. South Hobart would have been way better off playing tonight at a small rectangular stadium with 2k people in attendance. Thankfully Adelaide United has scrapped the idea of playing at Adelaide Oval.
Hopefully Sydney FC scrap SCG.Western Sydney are finished from Spotless, thank God for that.
Wellington are better off looking at something like Hutt otherwise their crowds will always look shit, and their fans will continue to suffer.Western United should hope they get their stadium built asap because it won't be that long before people are completely turned off going to that shit hole Kardinia for a football game.

All I'm basically saying is that football at an oval shaped stadium is shit, no matter what crowd you get, no matter how close one side of the field is ect ect.

Nobody is going to disagree with that mate, but you can't play games at stadiums you don't have.

There is no rectangular stadium on this island that could hold 2.6k. That's the reality we have to deal with.

Full credit to South Hobart for hosting their fixture as professionally as possible with the resources they have.

I remember last season there was a game in Hobart where it was pissing down raining and the game was played at a small suburban stadium. I could be wrong but I'm sure they had over 2k for that game.

I don't think South Hobart has ever had a home game in the FFA Cup proper.

Devenport crammed 2.4k into Valley Road somehow in 2016, but it'd need some work to safely do that on a regular basis, and it's in Devenport on the other side of Tasmania, of course.

What about the one near FFT at Glenorchy. What does that hold?

Maybe 500 seated?

I was there when Victory played a Tassie XI a few years ago that packed out, but have a look on Google maps and you can see there's not a lot of room to build up.

I'd suggest teaming up with athletics and getting some stands up on either wing of the athletics stadium in the domain, as a medium term solution.

I just had a look from the lower tier on the way out and the view isn't that bad to be fair, although the ground was moved 3 to 5 metres off centre towards it.

I've gotta say all the back of house amenities look really first class and modern, you can see into the cricket warm up rooms and it looks really modern too.
