Irvine with the assist and the goal. Looks like he’s playing as one of twin No.10s. If we were going to convert any of our midfielders into a striker, he’s the one. Knows where the goal is, good feet, very mobile and good in the air. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YfjqvFv57zE

Highlights of Borrello against 3rd Div Magdeburg in the Cup. He’s no.21 on the right wing and gives the last pass for the goal. Think he wanted it back and was in good position, but his teams mate kept it. That guy looked pretty good though, with a couple of long range efforts. https://tv.dfb.de/video/dfb-cup-men-1-fc-magdeburg-vs-sc-freiburg/25761/

Leckie starting in cup. He's been listed as right back. That's interesting. It has to be because Kalou is a further up the wing while Mittelstädt is left. Looking at it now it's surely a back 3 with Leckie as a wingback.

Leckie must deliver today. OK, the manager is more important than the fans but no one rates him according to the reaction today.

Baccus came off the bench.
No Davidson or Ibini.
Ansell made the bench, maybe he's just starting to come back from injury. Dylan Fox hasn't made the match day squad yet but Anyang signed him when he was injured.
Dykes started up top again for Livi.

+xQPR played Huddersfield yesterday. Even with the Aussie players I couldn't think of a more stale match up. Huddersfield are even worse under their new coach. Painful to watch. Zanka had moved to Fenebahce. Don't expect much from Huddersfield. Don't understand why they kept Mooy then sent him out on Loan, like he would want to go back anyway. Must be purely a financial decision.rofl. Yeah expect Hudders to be back in the Prem any time soon.

I can't believe what I'm seeing. PSV have re-signed Schwaab after he only left on a free in June. Amazing he couldn't find anything else. A massive slap in the face for Sainsbury. He should leave immediately. What a piss take and it's even worse after being under the eye of management since BVM took over the national team. Schwaab and Baumgartl will undoubtedly be in the defence and Viergever reserve.

Luckassen is being touted as one to leave. I can see it already that Luckassen being young, Dutch and having some Bundesliga experience will be snapped up while Sainsbury will be sucked in at being number 4. There is absolutely no way the most talented Australian CB of the current generation should settle for this. Yes, he's been rusty since the world cup but only due to a lack of matches. He's definitely also in an interesting time of life becoming a father and trying to finally stabilize his career. I don't think his head is right and he's always had a different demeanor to other players.
He did well in the earlier games only to have a rough day in the cup and lose as did the entire 11 that night. That tarnished him. The late sub vs Spurs and conceding against Kane and then Icardi, two of the world's best, got him labelled as a liability. The very best have been made to look very ordinary against those two. The 90min against Inter was in fact quite a good one. Meanwhile, Adam Webster (who I've followed since his Portsmouth days and I think is a very good player) was signed by Brighton for 20m pounds from Bristol City with no EPL experience. Hannover have seen Brazilian defender Felipe go through no more than 15 injuries playing only 72 games since June 2012. It's baffling and frustrating how some get an abundance of chances and a fail yet still get another go while others work so hard to get a chance, go ok, make the odd error and get written off forever. Of course this is being written with natural bias because I want him to succeed. The environment and context it's in just makes it very frustrating. He's becoming and has become the new Brad Smith.

So many stupid situations this guy strolls into its unbelieable. I'm actually surprised Maty Ryan made good of his career. It's like its just not meant to happen for these guys. HK and Viduka were freaks

I'm still praying for Arzani and Rogic to come good. If Rogic had a brain he would have moved yesterday like these Euro players, but we all know his stupid shortcomings. Arzani, well crap, give him more time but you would expect him to be playing good football sooner or later. If these crap - oops, I just ate my own poop...s hold him back I will be pissed

Sainsbury not in squad at all. Hopefully he's sorting even a loan move somewhere. Minutes are vital.

Arzani is still building up but it sucks he can't be taught by Rodgers.

HK and Viduka were freaks Ryan was smart to take that Genk loan move and he actually got shown up quite often and I was concerned about which clubs would look at him. Brighton took and punt and he's improved immensely there.

Info coming through that Sainsbury took part in the Jong PSV training this morning. Geez as a pro you just get on with it but that's a pretty rough downgrade. Most teams still have the entire first squad in the session. Has there perhaps been a terrible fallout or even some discipline issues?

Full match and assist for Jeggo
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

MVB just stated pre game on Dutch Fox Sports that Sainsbury and Luckassen are permitted to leave PSV if they wish. They'll need to keep 1 to have 4 CB's. Luckassen has the potential but needs practice. Sainsbury does have the versatility to offer himself in a midfield role but it's a massive mountain to climb. I can see Luckassen sorting a season long move. Sainsbury needs to be in touch with his agent immediately. Even a loan move just to get away for a time is fine.

+xCan’t see Sainsbury taking a pay cut. Didn't he earn enough in China? If he's seriously going to stay at PSV for money then that's just unbelievable. If he'd been playing, say, in Denmark for 4 years earning lower then I'd understand his desire to earn more but he's already hit the peak earning in China and should have more than enough set up in assets.

It’s a special case. His father in law is NT manager. Will be selected, even if he is on the bench for his club side.

1:0 Den Haag. Cracking goal. Viergever heads downwards and will cop it for that while the midfielder can't tackle in the ensuing play. Now VAR for possible hand ball but it's given.

Watching this game I really think Sainsbury should get a run in midfield. They're not solid. He played there for half a season in Switzerland. The fans are livid at their midfield tonight.

Fuck PSV heard enough bullshit to make me hate them for the next 60 years. What a pitty Culina played for them for so long. Fans are the fucking worst pack of sniping , back stabbing , two-faced idiotic whiners in the history of football.
