Just looking at the fixtures again I really like the early kick off time I think they have done a good job with it

we have pointed out a serious flaw in the draw (stated in the Western United thread), which I am sure you heave read. there are 4 occurances where all 3 VIC teams play at home in the same round and 4 occurances where all 3 VIC teams play away in the same round. Thats a joke.

That’s happened in previous seasons - City and Victory often play at home the same weekend. By all accounts it’s not an accident and the FFA seem to think it’s a good thing.

What garbage. If you have 3 games in one region, you have all the teams competing for fans and exposure on the same weekend. and there is no exposure on the weekend when all 3 teams are away. If you're a casual fan and check the fixture to see if there is a game on the weekend, but there isn't... it’s an opportunity to gain a new fan lost.

You must have at least 1 game in VIC every weekend, but not all 3. The same should go for Sydney next year. This is where the AFL do it so much better. there is always 1 game per week in Adelaide, Perth, Sydney and SE QLD.

You’d think right. I mean his hard would it be to alternate City and Victory?

The AFL also has 5 games in Melbourne this weekend.
I don't think it matters in high density populated cities.

I think its does. it keeps the fan interested and not distracted about other sports or hobbies.
