+x+x+x“Pourre tweeted that the change kit wasn’t white earlier this week.”Thank goodness for that. Yeah. Although it’s got to be light though. Grey again maybe. Purre has also said that there will be 4 kits this season i think the Orange is light enough to be our 'light' strip. so Orange Home (mostly orange but with black trimming similar to http://www.footballshirtculture.com/15/16-Kits/corinthians-2015-2016-nike-third-football-shirt.html) Black Away (mostly black with orange trimming) Grey alternate and maroon state of origin strip. Not quite. The two alternate strips will be one light and one dark according to Pourre

I really hope we don't go for grey. The players merge with the background/crowd rather than standing out clearly - which means the players can't see each other across field or upfield without having a good look for them. When we have played with grey we have slowed down considerably and had a lot more wayward passes. When we went back to our usual strips the play improved on the spot. I cannot see that as coincidence. I would have hoped for some version of a simple white or pale blue (I see Waz said Pourre had said no to white) with either black or orange trim - even a black V (like Victory) bordered by a thin orange strip either side. Since we are Brisbane Roar FC, something related to Brissy? That Brisbane RIver shape in black over a pale orange?
When I wear their colours, I am the club.

If there is a predominantly black jersey,I hope they only use it at night. It would be crazy to wear black in the summer sun.

Honestly, I don't care if they ever wear it, but obviously the fans want it. If doing four kits means they can have one that gives fans what they want (and the players don't have to wear it if it's too hot), then I am all for it!

I purchased tics for the cup game as well, and received the order confirmation but no tickets (as yet at least). Has anyone had any issues or late receipt of ezy tickets?

Agreed if any one is interested you can pick up last season's shirt for $20 in the Roar shop at the moment(some limits on size), i bought a couple just so i have some comfortable shirts for working out in :), cheaper than a plain umbro shirt.

Thanks! I stole it from @AardigOranje on Twitter. I think it came about when there was all the talk about whether clubs should come out in support of LGBTIQ+ etc.

I also enquired about Roar's 3 game hospitality package for the 3 HAL matches at Dolphin but they're not releasing the details until 28 August. Hope it doesn't cost more than the resort.

There’s no push on being QLD Push probably the wrong word, but it does seem like they are trying to avoid alienating other areas of Queensland (e.g. using the Queensland Maroon), and I think having a kit based on Brisbane City Council colours would go against that.

I bought that one (the only change kit I’ve ever bought in fact) I thought that was more a nod back to Brisbane Lions/Hollandia, being royal blue and orange (rather than the Brisbane City sky blue). I agree it was a nice strip though, best away strip Roar have had IMO.
