Would be interesting to know who was playing and how much experimentation was happening. 
I can't imagine it would have been too intense with our next FFA Cup game coming up on Wednesday. 

I’m not sure that’s correct, I heard they had 6 by half time but am struggling to get the actual score. It was first team in the first half and reserves second. 

I wasn't really concerned about conceding a goal - was it our first this pre-season? I can't remember another. Regardless it is no small thing that our defence has been pretty solid so far - even with experimental and second choice players.

I also wondered about the team make-up. I would hope RF is playing his first choice side as often as possible to build better understanding of each other, but as you say with the FFA Cup game next week it would be silly to push them too hard. Fitness and game legs but not worn out.

I would have no problem with having a front three selected from a heap,of strikers  who rotate on the field.
Better too many than too few.
When  we need to score late in a game, what better than a choice of strikers instead of  sending on defenders or a non threatening player.
