+x+xHrustic having his breakout season. Good on him. Wonder if there is a chance he'll get picked up by a bigger Dutch club Just thinking same thing. Seems to be having a breakout yr like Culina did around a similar age at twente

+xAnyone know what Harry is up to this season? Is he coaching anywhere? Haven’t heard much - there is a 20min sky football uk podcast from September 1st where he chats about his career and touches upon his coaching adventures thus far. Seems like he’s just waiting for the right opportunity

Iredale scored Jeggo subbed on early in the first half, won 2-0 Holland starting against Salzburg, just won the ball in midfield and began a good counter, 1-0
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Iredale scored again for Wolfsburg 11 Thats 7 goal this year. Interesting not - his previous challenges for top scorer for this team - John Yeboah - sept on loan to Eredevisie team Vvv venlo and scirung goals already. Hopefully Iredale is being monitored by scouts

Mabil starting in a massive game against Copenhagen. Win here and the lead in 1st place is big!

Game ends 0:0. Mabil sent off with a 2nd yellow in added time for pulling. Not losing to Copenhagen is good for them.

Behich bench. Despite their multiple competition campaign, I'm slightly concerned about lack of minutes. At the same time it'll be interesting to see how sharp he, Mooy, Rogic, Arzani, Luongo, Leckie and even Mabil and Borrello are with the less arduous campaign. I feel the intensity has been tough on our players and it's affected their energy level for the national team at times. Irvine is one who'll need to watch out to prevent burn out.

Yes agree with this. Our boys not being rusted on guranteed starters week in week out with their club sides is actually good for the national team as they are fresh mentally and physically. Irvine, Amini, degenek and now he's moved Irvine will be the players required to be rested time to time with the roos

Deni Juric has 6 goals in 6 games, 5 in the last 3. Smith hit the post against DC United, but lost 2-0
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Anyway know if Borello or Leckie could end up playing reserves for their respective teams?
Like Borello there are a few other european based roos who seemed so positive at the start od the new season but seem to have now dropped from contention from first team squads Timotheu at zulte Waregem in belgium Dylan Ryan at Willem ii in Eredevisie
Hope Borello doesnt go the same way this season

Celtic Reserves are playing tonight and no Arzani. Mazis is on the bench. Please God its a sign that NL wants him in the first team squad for the league cup quarter final match against Partick on Thursday morning.

If he features at all for the first team Thursday morning we should have a 442 forum public holiday in celebration

Isn’t Deni Juric playing semi professional football in the Croatian 2nd division?
Pretty disappointing he’s playing at such a low level considering he’s already 22. Would love to see him in the A-League.

Decent run from Luongo, who just drags a shot wide. Wednesday have settled now but they'll need to stay sharp to avoid being caught out again

Luongo has put a tireless shift in for . Love his energy and tenacity. For me, he is pressing hard for a league start.55 gone. 2-0 Everton lead.
I think luongo needs more time on pitch so we can see what he is like.
To be fair Luongo and Pelupessy are more than matching Delph and the Jimmy Bullard wannabe in centre midfield.
57 | CHANCE! Winnall fires over the bar from just outside the box after good work from Luongo to close down the ball
