+xMan, he was no good last week either. bs. he was alright last week. this performance was possibly the worst i've ever seen of mooy. was he sick or injured?? ive watched a hell of a lot of his games over the last 5 or 6 seasons. i don't think he did himself any favours. turning over the ball. losing his mark. completely flat and immobile off the ball. played with no energy. taking up dead, terrible, positions. his slotted a couple nice passes through but that was about it. short of injuries i would be surprised if he starts again for brighton any time soon. brighton's first half was easily their worst of the season. did not look like the same team. they were more collected and fluid on the ball against man city and they lost that 4-0. i can only hope this contributed to mooy's woeful appearance. ryan had a great game. a handful of really nice saves. only a penalty and a deflection got past him. his mid range passing was a bit off but that probably had more to do with the generally terrible positioning brighton was taking up under the chelsea press. they were really working to draw in the press of chelsea in to give them options past the first line. but it meant they were playing out very tight under pressure from inside their box. this is fine but the fullbacks and midfield were marked well and those passing options weren't really available.

I thought he was quite good. He did seem slow in defence, but he made a few good passes and didn't lose the ball much that I could see. He also made a goal-saving block. He wasn't great, but he did his job.

Not worried about Mooy at all, he blocked 2 consecutive Chelsea shots on goal, as well as picked some really nice passes. Maupay had 2 EASY looks at goal, if the guy was Willian you'd have atleast 1 goal there. Maupay was legit woeful , tuuuuribbbble. TERRIBLE. Managers tactics with the ability of just Willian alone, scary. That back 3 was destroyed by a shit Chelsea attack. Ryan probably forgot to react on the penalty take because he lost function in some part of his brain due to all the heart attacks he was having.

Those moments were he appears dead I really dont think there are any other options , if there are he should make an effort to find out what else he can do, because like you say he genuinely looks like a traffic cone.

They are scoring 2 goals a game and just put 5 past Wolves and gave Liverpool serious problems. Brighton are a bottom half team and from January on last season were quite easily the worst team in the league bar Huddersfield. I have no idea what the fuck you expect from them against Chelsea away from home.

I have no idea what the fuck you expect from them against Chelsea away from home. Think man. Under Hughton they actually won some of these games, playing predominantly defensive (4-4-2) Consider watching Chelsea's attack in this game, they were woeful, so many wasted countless opportunities against a 3 man backline who couldn't get their shit together all night. Several gifts from Burns. Willian is 5'9 man, should be bouncing off of defenders. Yet he was zigzagging and threading around everything. Alonso also, absolutely dreadful in the first half. I'll just put these comments down to not watching the game. This Brighton Manager will have them relegated by seasons end , mark my words, and Maupay is the answer.

I feel like this guy is seriously going under the radar. He was very average in the a-league imo, but he seems to be getting semi decent minutes in a way better league.

Zach Duncan came on in 58 minute for AGF Amini full game and gersbach unused. They really rate Duncan, good signs for him and the NT

Borrello on bench. Freiburg have a lot of good attacking options. At least they're playing a front 3 to give as many a run as possible. I guess a 442 would increase the chances that bit more with 2 strikers and wingers but match time will come.

No time for Borrello. Waldschmidt scored from the bench.
Leckie on bench along with Ibisevic, Lukebakio, Kalou, Duda, Esswein and Löwen. Bloody hell so many attackers. If he gets minutes today I'll eat my hat.

Dougall finally returned and played 90 for the U23s.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Wow was not aware that Optus Sport played live Serie A, Bundelsiga, Ligue 1. I wonder if my EPG pulled in wrong information.

Unless he gets converted to a RB which would be great for the roos Yeah I'll go as far and say he should enquire about a loan in January. Hertha had to recruit heavily and they've done exactly that. Leckie is definitely part of the plan but this 11 have suddenly won 2 games convincingly and that won't change. Maybe he wants to give England a crack while he still can. I don't think epl would really work out. Perhaps he could add more to Sheffield United in attack. It'd be Championship if anything but then that may see him play too much. They really need to reform to 20 clubs per league over there.
