Amini has probably peaked. Podcast had Arnold all over him. He really likes him. The podcast was about ho Arnold flies around to visit players and has a great chat about life with them. I just really hope he can remember the football aspect when selecting. I feel McGree should be ahead of Amini.

Mate, Amini has started week in week out in Europe for years now. Mcgree plays in the a-league against much weaker players. How can you put mcgree over Amini?

It's not like we don't select a-league players for the socceroos. We clearly do and most of them do quite well 

The Danish league is crap, probably no better than A league.   No need to get excited about a little league because its in Europe.

Amini is playing in one of the mid-level European leagues, it's not like he is playing in one of the top leagues. More relevantly in terms of the Socceroos, I've not yet seen Amini do anything when he has played for the national team. So I would be giving an opportunity to a younger player who is currently tearing it up in the A League, rather than play someone who has been given chances but not impressed for the national team, irrespective of whether he is playing in Europe.

Hertha have sacked their manager and now Jürgen Klinsmann is in. I'm really curious to see what he'll do with Leckie and whether he'll attempt to convert him to a right back. He may discard him completely! Time will tell.

McGree couldn’t last 6 months in Belgium so how can people expect him to be ahead of players playing their trade in low key leagues in Europe like Amini?

Amini has been poor against a world class opposition like Taiwan (same as Borrello) n he was a sub n suppose to make as impact.  First touch was very poor, I cn only judge frm what i saw. Mayb the right one for his club but nt at national level. Look at Boyd he came on as a sub u cn c he changes the game. Im sure Mcgree cn do a better job. N Holland should b given another chance.

Boyle played 10 minutes against a tired defence and made one good run, Amini didn't even play because he was injured.
