Can someone explain Jelena Dokic's accent to me?
I know afew people of Serbian, Croat, Bosnian background and they dont sound anything like her. They either have a thicker accent or speak like any aussie does.
Jelena speaks with a horrible accent that I just cant stand....

No rebel ticket. Only four independents to contest what will likely be only one available spot on the seven-member board. (This was reported 6 weeks ago).

Independent nominees - Peter McMahon & Anthony Elias - previously on the board with Dib. The other two are Nicholas Dimas & Anthony Elias.

On another topic if you have any interest at all in soccer watch Liverpool play this season, the best side in recent memory, that may improve to be the best EPL side ever.
Not my side, but I know class and style when I see it.....
And a key difference IMO is the manager is bold enough to play with 3 forward players...
The best way to describe it IMO is a 4-3-3 again I think that is a flexible style, especially if they play like Liverpool often do with at least 2 of the top 3 in close proximity.
They have the players, but I would like my team's manger to copy this style...
The only relevance to the NRL is if you throw a lot at teams in attack, it takes a lot of pressure off your team... in attack and defence....
The Dogs do need to win the yardage battle and have more strike.
This time last year we had passing drills at training an we started the season passing the ball much better than most sides. If the no 9 and the halves make the right call moving the ball fast to the right area is a big advantage, especially if you do it 2-3 plays in a row.
So I would like to see us keep up the passing skills and drastically improve the decision making process with players on the field making the call. If may even be best if the fullback makes a coded call.... good players do this by instinct at close quarters you often have an instinct about where the defenders are without even looking,,and on wider plays players need to use their eyes, their maths ability and their brain... Wakeham seems like one guy who has vision...

It is incredible Liverpool have only lost once in nearly 60 games now. How they didn't win The EPL last year when they lost once and Man City lost 4 times is a testament to the handicap of a draw (Liv had 7 of them, MC 2).
And yes they're my team since 1974 FA Cup Final when I asked mum who was closer to our home, Liverpool or Newcastle?
Only team in any other sport I follow.
Go you good things.

Villa was leading 1-0 with 9mins to go against Liverpool Then.... we just fell asleep for a split second & Liverpool scored.... then went onto get the winner then in injury time.
Clearly, I still blame that loss on Idiot Dessy

Had NBN installed today.
Went with Internode.
What an abortion.
I need to speak with ACMA or the ombudsman to figure out how to break away from the contract, get a refund and stick with 4G mobile.
I think its quicker if I drove to the local McDonalds, did my internet stuff there and then drove back.

I still have my Telstra ADSL connected but for some reason just prior to New Years we lost ADSL and phone line connection so Telstra sent me their latest modem with built in backup 4G sim. I still dont get ADSL (some problem) but the 4G is active. I get 5Mb/s download at 7.30pm. At the same time, I run a check with my Vodafone 4G on my mobile and get similar 5-6Mb/s. Yet when I run the test on the Internode NBN I get about 1-1.5Mb/s download. I'm on the 50Mb/s plan. Something is amiss.

+xPlease hurry up league season.... Yep we can get Villa and West Ham to play friendlies against Liverpool before all Dogs home games. With 22 against 11, my gut feel is the Villa blokes will let us down... :)

Sound like MTM FTTN "node lotto" to me,,, FTTN was the LNP's way of introducing good or bad luck into the NBN...... the cable mess is not much better... StarLink might obsolete the NBN, unless they get proactive about upgrades to sort out the mess.
