When Korea Rep really had 2 main sports on football and baseball off a large population base.
 and we have 5 or 6 sports competing for the young athletes off a low population base.

This is why we are missing a number 10. Italiano, Buhagiar and Toure have not done anything and been completely isolated. A number 10 could draw them in a lot more. Why on earth is someone like Josh Laws ahead of De Silva?

Just think boys and girls. Buhagiar has now played 3 games this tournament when Danny De Silva wasn't even picked!! 

De Silva has been signed by Roma, played in the Eredivisie, played nearly 100 senior matches and plays every week in the A league as a winger and AMC. Meanwhile Buhagiar played only 50 games for CCM in his career, no other distinguishments. And played no games this season!

Trying a few things now at least. Come on!

What has De Silva shown lately?

You'd think as fullback, they'd have an idea as to how to cross a ball. I could probably count on one hand the amount of good crosses this tournament.

I suppose we'll always cluth onto the arguement that we didn't have our 'best' players. Nevertheless it's a bloody weak arguement and question of our player pool. The German U23 with all their players would see most walk into the Socceroos team.

Yeah, I wouldn’t say on this seasons form that de Silva should have been there, but the same thing absolutely applies, even more so, to Buhagiar. It beggars belief what Arnold saw to even consider picking him in the squad.
