SvD payed back the Brissie crowd last night by missing an empty net from 2 metres. Flores absolutely the best again!! Pity he didn't put that ball in the back of the net when he was clean through.
I've a good feeling about this year. United could have buried a good side in Brisbane, but just couldn't but those things happen - move on . A brace from Ramsay again next week?
Also anyone heard more on the rumour of Pickard becoming the owner?

Barbs has been in full training for a couple of weeks now so not surprised, reckon Dodd may be coming back in early due to our international issues.

I am very much looking forward to seeing both of them play at least some part on Friday night. Dodd in particular will probably be itching to nab a few goals after his extended time on the sideline.

Anyone go to the Super League grand final on saturday? Adelaide City champions yet again. Cannot believe it, especially how bad their season started. Saddest thing is the crowd attendance: 4248. More than double Gold Coasts game.

Is anyone else paying for their membership in installments? Just wondering because they're suppose to take the money out on the 15th but I can't see any transactions for that date this month. Has anyone else had their money taken out?

Friday night is gonna be awesome, hopefully Perth bring some good travelling support like they usually do because the atmosphere will be sweet.

No more than normal - Fowler = no mention, top v third = slight, Leckie available = most. AFL grand-final and Commonwealth games rule the roost

To be expected I guess...but a pity. Still let's hope you guys pack out Hindmarsh and that it's a cracker of a game.

Word of mouth and perhaps no Adelaide teams in the AFL final managed to bring that # to the ground, although I'm a bit sceptical of the AFL's impact as the atmosphere suggested " real " football supporters.
On the game - how good is Reid? > he seemed to be everywhere, always harassing just like a big, red terrior!
Don't want this euphoria to end. What about Dodd and Barbiero. Their names weren't on the injury list, where were they?

Just a question for the Adelaide faithful, we're heading to your glorious town for our players trip away on the 22nd of October. We wanna get to the game against Wellington that night. We're staying at a backpackers called Annie's Place, any idea's on the best form of transport to get to Hindmarsh?....there's 20 of us going so taxi's are out of the equation.

There's a tram line that runs from North Terrace out to the Entertainment centre which is a 2-3 minute walk from Hindmarsh. If Google maps is correct it looks like it might be a 5 minute walk or so from Annie's Place to Nth Tce.

Grab a tram to ent centre. Hindmarsh is opposite the ent centre rear car park, and trams in the CBD are free. Beat me ducky #-o Edited by redcup: 25/9/2010 12:26:30 PM

Also must mention that trams are FREE from the CBD to the Entertainment Centre stop too. In fact I used this wonderful service just yesterday. :)
