+x+xDegenek starting in a top of the table Belgrade derby, currently 0-0 at HT. Dead set, it's just pyro with a bit of football on the side No pyro, no party. Ends 0-0, full game for Degenek, Red Star stay 11 points in front.

Bouman hasn't played a minute since the U23 championship. 22 games on the bench but transfermarkt is surely wrong here. I swear I read he's gotten some minutes.
Friday saw Hrustic get a full 90 in a 3:1 loss to Willem 2 with Ryan on the bench yet again.
Ryan Teague has gotten an average of 44min the last 3 games.

Susnjar is apparently back at Mlada Boleslav but he's not been in the squad. Whether he's actually there I can't find out for certain. The guy is an odd one who is hard to track down.

+x+x+x+xBozanic starting against Rangers Bozanic scores the winner. 1-0. Seeing this, made me double check how old Bozanic is. Still just 31. I remember he started against Spain in the 2014 World Cup, played ok given the opposition, and then seemed to slip off the Socceroos radar after that. Not sure if injuries were a factor. Other than scoring this goal against Rangers, which is great, I don’t know what his club form has been like? Maybe Arnie uses him in the Copa, if he can get a release when others might not? Of course, that’s if the Copa goes ahead, given Coronavirus - I certainly hope it does go ahead! Since their new manager has come in he has done well, granted he has his limitations but the effort he puts in can't be questioned. However he's still not getting guaranteed minutes with Hearts right now , so it's highly unlikely he would be getting into the Socceroos anytime soon, also even more unlikely that Stendel (Hearts manager) would agree to let one of his players go when they are in a relegation battle. Bozanic is going to get Gerrard to walk out the club (that's if he isn't sacked) , so that alone is worth a spot imo :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmJhZRFyBHE Everything I've seen of mooy does not impress. Is he at risk of being dropped then ending at a championship club? Brighton in trouble Tom rogic has has the softest, most armchair coast career of any player I have ever seen. All that potential And Scotland is a shit show. This thread proves that. Imagine the damage watching TWENTY SEVEN YEARS of it Arzani was just stupid going there. Glory and money before he put the hard yards in. The day he grew his moustache was the day his ego got the better of him Can't comment on Mooy this season because I don't watch enough of Brighton play (don't think I'm missing out on anything there lol). Rogic wasting his potential is all down to himself, blaming the league for his downfall is silly considering he has had 2 good seasons in 7 years due to his poor fitness- plenty of players playing in the league have went onto bigger leagues because they were consistently good. He could play in the Championship/ Eredivisie but would that solve his fitness issues that hold him back from being a luxury player to a consistent goal scoring attacking midfielder? no. The only thing this thread proves is that there are a few Aussies out there that have a misconception that guys like Rogic are 'killing it' when he can barely play 60 mins, averages a goal every 5 games and has still yet to score in a Europa League/ Champions League game in 24 games playing as an attacking midfielder, but hey they see him score a wonder goal on facebook once every couple of years so surely he deserves to play in prem right? If he fixes his fitness issues and becomes more clinical in front of goal who knows how far he could go, but right now he can't get into the starting xi unless Christie is suspended or injured, this talk of mid table Bundesliga teams from Schwarzer only feeds into this delusion that the general public over here have about Rogic.

So with that in mind, along with what I see of him when playing, in my opinion he is best used as an inpact player coming off the bench for the last 30 or so minutes as he can influence the game doing as such.

Where is Blake Riccuito playing now? Various follow ups; Transfermarkt is correct about Bouman. Been on the bench 22 times with the senior side this season without playing a minute. The club are top of the table and hard to break in. He does drop back to the reserves for game time quite frequently. Ryan Teague has only just moved so we need to moderate our early expectations. He is an 18 year old, playing at the U23 level in Portugal, so tracking ok. He started and played 78 minutes yesterday. Aleks Susnjar, trying to get more current information, but as at about a month ago, he told me that he was still assessing his options. Blake Ricciuto. As of a week or two ago, he too was still assessing his options.

Other than Ruka I don't believe anyone else is performing at a high standard in a good league Boyle just won SPL player of the month last month in what is a higher league than the israeli league. Mooy and ryan close to Brighton's best this season in the best league in the world. Degenek dominant in a league better than israeli league. James Holland nearly started every game and gotten at least 6 assists in a top 10 league in Europe (Austria) .

As i just pointed out on the ELO thread, the Scottish league has jumped up a lot in quality the last few seasons. It is nearly back to what it was in the 2000's with Rangers, Hibs and Hearts all back in the top division after the dark says of circa 2014 when teams like Inverness were finishing 2nd in the top flight. Dundee United look likely to be promoted back as well which will be the last big scottish team back in the top flight and help lift the league again. Both Rangers and Celtic topped their Europa league Groups and are immeasurebly better sides than when Rogic first broke into the Celtic team in the 2015/16 season when they were ranked about 1500 on ELO. That 2015 side saw Rogic, Bitton, Simunic, Gordon and Leigh Griffiths (who was also the league topscorer) as guaranteed starters - today all of them are only squad rotation players despite being in their primes (bar Gordon) which shows you how much Celtic and the league has improved. Today Celtic are rated 1647 which is the 68th best in Europe and for comparison would put them 17th in the prem, 11th in the bundi and 8th in Italy. Using the UEFA coeffcients SCotland is now back up to a very respectable 14th (they went as low as about 23rd around 2014) which so long as they stay there come the end of the season, means an automatic champions league group stage place, something the Scottish League hasn't seen in a long time Rogic is still one of their best whenever he comes on so it is certainly reasonable that he could play in a mid table bundi side. Currently he is being ousted by Christie who after Edourd and Morelos is probably the best player in the league so we shouldn't be too hard on rogic.
