We'll likely see another pandemic like this in our lifetimes unless the Chinese government seriously crack down on underground wet markets selling "exotic" meat. Yes it originated there but to call it the Chinese virus instead of covid19 is just another way to sidestep his lack of planning . For two weeks he called it fake news. America is so far behind testing. He also wanted to buy a cure from Germany and wanted it only for America.

Not defending trump but at the same time the Chinese (and other nations) need to be held to account for allowing these wet markets to thrive in the face of dire warnings from infectious disease experts. SARS was the warning and they elected to ignore it and even now they are attempting to shift blame.

What makes anyone think that conservatives are against bailouts and stimulus? Even old Ruddy described himself as an economic conservative. I’d also say that $1000 cheques arent going to stave off the pending depression, this is going to be a whole lot more ugly than GFC.
