With a change to the seating categories this season, please ensure you are familiar with the area that you have purchased a ticket for. Please note that, unlike previous seasons, patrons will not be able to access the different seating categories (ie Gold ticket holders can only access the Gold sections (Western Grandstand), Blue ticket holders can only access the Blue section (East Stand), and Red ticket holders can only access the Red sections (North or South Stands). This is to ensure that there is no overcrowding in any of the stands.
Hmmm...
Have my plans to sit with mates tonight been scuppered?
I'd like to see them police this effectively. Am i still allowed in at Manton street? Hmmmm

Severe thunderstorm warning just been issued, looks like it could be heading our way, I'm not an expect on the radar but I do know when there is black in the picture, that's bloody serious.
It's going to turn so many people off, fingers crossed it misses.

... it was such a perfect week. I'm doing my best weather work, It's look heavy as fuck but it should be around for a while, problem is it will probably strike around 5-5:30 when people are getting ready to leave. It might just miss, the ugliest part looks like it might hit Gawler rather than Adelaide. Fingers crossed, going to keep my eyes peeled to the radar for the next hour, fuck doing work.

That second patch of rain over the Eyre/Yorke Peninsulas could scrape to the north if we're lucky;) fingers crossed, even though my seats are high up under cover in the Western stand;) with no roof, the threat of rain could turn away a few of those who bought tickets:( I hope we get our 15,000 crowd tonight, but I think the rain during the day might just scare some off, crowd prediction@1535.....14,500 odd. Aha I agree but we were the very back last of last back rows at the very very very top I actually did enjoy having that view of the game as it was easier to identify shapes and movements etc but every few games or so I'd go sit down with the plebs to get my fix of being close to the action. Now I'm on half way line at the top of say the bottom third of the stand so the viewing is GREAT but I'm gonna get wet Ive never cared about rain at the soccer though. You do what you gotta do

Basically, they haven't worked out what us members are for or what they are going to do with us. They successfully wrangled an extra $60 each out of their hard core supporter base and figured they'd work something out later. I mean if we are meant to be going to open nights with griffen and rini etc do we have to show our key ring to get in? Will they essentially let anyone in? Will these even happen? Im not sure anyone, let alone us, knows the answer to these questions

Okay, us Reds fans know that our club is on the hopeless side when itcomes to communicating with we the fans. We remember that the promised Errea kits were due on Sept30th and were delayed...the club sent out an email saying, sorry, not much we can do, which is why I was surprised to see some of the new Home kits for sale at the merch tent on Friday night previous. I gave it a couple of days, but today was the day I was planning to ring the club for a please 'splain. Wouldn't you know it, just before I'm about to call this pops into my inbox. Quote:Dear vanbasten88, Unfortunately, our delivery has arrived from our supplier 3 weeks later than expected. The shirt allocation for shirts ordered through the online store are currently being embellished in an attempt to post out all orders as soon as possible. Many of you may have noticed that the new shirts were on sale at the match last Friday night. But please be aware that the shirts that were being sold at the vans at the ground only arrived on Friday afternoon. The shirts arrive unbranded, and therefore need to have all sponsors logos embellished before going on sale. Seeing as they only arrived on the day of the match, this obviously did not leave us with enough time to embellish all of the correct sponsors’ logos on the shirts and post them out in time for the match that night. A small number of shirts were embellished on Friday afternoon in order to sell them at the match. If we had the completed shirts available to post before the match, we would have of course done so.We will make every attempt to post your order to you before Saturday’s match. Please understand that we too are very frustrated with this situation, and due to our order not arriving when we were advised, we have not been able to send out any of our existing orders. We apologise for this inconvenience.Regards,Adelaide United FC

Oh dear....
Did we all get this too? aha I also noted even Ticketek are consfused as to whether we are ticket holders or members :d
Dear Adelaide United Season Ticket Holder,
Thank you for ordering a season ticket for the Adelaide United A-League 2011-2012 season.
This is a courtesy email to all members who have booked a ticket to ensure that they have received their member cards.
All cards, except members that have joined up in the last week have been sent or were available for collection at the Manton Street box office last Friday night.
In the event that you have yet to receive your card, please contact us on 1300 100 336 as soon as possible so that we are able to organise a reprint of your card and have it available for collection at this Saturday’s home game against Sydney FC. If emailing is easier, please reply back with your full name (the name the membership is under), current address, best contact number and member number and we will organise to have your cards reprinted or contact you to discuss any details.
Kindest Regards Ticketek (on behalf of Adelaide United)

FORMER St Kilda star and West Torrens SANFL coach Glenn Elliott will jettison his first sporting love for world football – for good.
Elliott, who is CEO of North Adelaide’s SANFL side, will become Adelaide United’s permanent head after doing both jobs over the past 11 months when the Rob Gerard-led consortium bought the Reds franchise.
Elliott will soon end his role with the Roosters to work full-time at Adelaide United.
Elliott is tipped to focus on a series of projects, including the acquisition of Veneto Club at Beverly, as the club aims to make the complex its home base.
Hopefully one of those projects is the acquisition of Hindmarsh, either on a permanent lease or purchase. Another project that needs to be considered is an upgrade of Hindmarsh to 22k+ or a new stadium of up to 30k capacity. Lets build this club up!

Errea are useless (if this happened in Europe, the fans would burn the factory down).
