Awesome for O’Neill

O’Neill has been very tidy since kick off.

Currently 25 mins in, very involved with interceptions, and he hasn’t misplaced a single pass.

The most impressive thing for me is that his passing has actually been quite adventurous and he is still managing to find his man. 

Commentators just mentioned him having a good game 

1-0 Pohang.   Decent half for him.

O’Neill made the tackle and pass that started the play that lead to Pohang’s goal, picking up a secondary assist.

Neither Leckie nor Borrello in their squads. That's with 9 bench players and 5 subs permitted. Fuck off. 

Leckie I can get. On his way out and new manager Labbadia is a hack. Why on earth do incompetent managers continue to get jobs?

Borrello is quite unfortunate. Streich is a top manager and he'll have his reasons. It's a shame he couldn't get in but the Freiburg bench has a lot of good names there. 

Hoffenheim have brought on a 17 year old striker but it's not Noah Botic. Interesting how many kids have made these expanded bundesliga benches today. 

Ha beginner's luck for Labbadia at Hertha today it seems.

Leckie has no chance at finding minutes here. He'll either give the Championship, Bundesliga 2 or Japan a go. 

Davidson starting, Taggart dropped to the bench, Antonis suspended

Suwon 2-3 Ulsan.  Another decent one for Davidson. Taggart came on but couldn't do much, had a good chance but didn't beat the keeper. Third goal shouldn't have happened, awful wall and keeper misread the freekick.

Hearts have been relegated so hopefully Garuccio returns to Adelaide given we need a LB, Bobby Burns hopefully stays at the Jets and Ollie Bozanic hopefully will find a new club too.

Leckie definitely on the way out at Hertha. I'd love to see him link up with Ange and maybe get played more as a wing back. His robustness would be alright in the Championship.

Gotta be long odds on Brillante and Inman, surely. I wouldn't begrudge Boogard a money move. We need to regenerate our CBs and Topor is already signed on (and far more consistent).
