don't disagree with your shopping list but he should have worked out by now a formation that suits the players he has,
Malik is a natural AM/winger and he's been persisted with at DM despite being poor in the role.
Watson has been persisted with at RB despite being terrible at it.
Barbiero has got way to much gametime for how he has been playing.
Vidosic is to inconsistent to play the no10 role and should be pushed out wide right.

I wouldn't mind a smaller, more mobile forward, if such a player exists. True left and right sided wingers are a must.

He's not small but he is quick Kostpoulous is in the ACL squad but I don't think he's in the A-League squad. Is he the sort of player you're suggesting?

I'll be doing the same Wednesday morning, once the opening game w/ Bundyodkor is in the books, thereby proving we are actually in the tournament. I can't believe the negativity on here, sure we suck this season, but football is a funny old game, adding Fyfe could just be the x-factor we need to shore up our leaky defence, anything can and does often happen in 90minutes of football. For all the Hanrahan's out there: Time to put the "We'll all be rooned!" hats away and get out to support the lads. COYR!

Adelaide United FC wishes to clarify the position it has taken in actively supporting the nomination of Clive Palmer as a living treasure.

When the club was first approached to assist Clive Palmer, it did so as at the time Clive was very supportive of the Club and in fact had agreed to speak at the Reds’ United in Business Lunch in February. As it transpired Clive cancelled that appearance due to a small medical procedure he was booked into at late notice on the same day.

Since then Clive has made a raft of statements that in the club’s view are damaging to the game in Australia. The recent announcement that he had formed Football Australia has been severely criticised by Adelaide United Chairman Greg Griffin, who described that body as being a complete nonsense and a waste of time.

The full transcript of Griffin’s quotes appeared in The Advertiser on 2 March 2012. The Club has made its position as to the recent actions of Clive very clear. Adelaide United FC fully endorses the actions taken by the FFA to terminate his licence to field a team in the Hyundai A-League and regards as appalling the personal attacks that have been made by Clive on faithful and loyal servants of the game in recent media appearances.

Adelaide United prides itself on the strong working relationships it has with all the Hyundai A-League clubs, which includes Gold Coast United. When however any individual or club seeks to damage the good standing or integrity of the league, the club will not stand back in silence as has been shown by the public statements of the Club Chairman in recent times.
