AU got a viewing pop. of approx 22 million for this game, while on a very good day the Crows or PA might get 6 million ( and they'd be mostly Victorians ). With all the ballyhoo about exposure of our state/tourism $'s, I still think the average punter who read the 'Tiser is being non-educated by, what I see, as minimal exposure. Interesting to see the commentators asking whether or not Nagoya could manage to get something from the match at the beginning. Very contrasting to what I've normally seen of people questioning whether Adelaide would scrape through.

on a quick note to was listening to a interview with trani on monday night they asked about kossie and his A-licence and what the hold up is and apparently trani said that it is not as easy to get it now like it use to be you cant do a 3 day course and be given it anymore if you could ever get it that fast lol
now it can take up to 3 years to get it.

Was just watching Ten News ([spoiler]shame on me, I know[/spoiler]) and apparently the club is looking at selling Serg while we can still get something for him. And apparently Dario and Kossie have "patched up their differences" and they want to keep him.

Val (for his faults) does a pretty good job of ensuring there is an AU story in the paper on most days, even in off season. I fully expect the 'tiser to crank up the "us against the world!" bandwagon come Quarter final time. They realized in the 2008 run that they could sell a lot more papers by supporting United than by running the NewsLtd company line of hostility towards Sokkah. We were leading 1-0 perth had a corner and velaphi came up as one last roll of the dice and harnwell had the header and headed it hard and low to the bottom right part of the goal mouth and galekovic got down low and tap it away. Alot of Glory supporters thought that went in and had already starting cheering. wish I could find that clip.
