+x+xIs there really people in the background pushing for an EGM???... Is there really a push to oust Lynne???... Yup and yup, and they've almost got their signatures. I'll add yup to a few more things too NOT in the papers inc but not limited to Leagues club directors getting involved in Facebook stoushes. So is the real problem the footy club board or the bitter leagues club Dibbies... Maybe the leagues club board needs to be shafted...

+xIt's been pointed out that as a result of their successful appeal and the determination of their suspension both Okonbur and CHN are still contracted Canterbury players as far as The NRL are concerned. It's now up to us to terminate or not and judging by the statement just released from the club that seems undecided.... like everything else. What would the law say???...

+xSo is the real problem the footy club board or the bitter leagues club Dibbies... Maybe the leagues club board needs to be shafted... There's a split on the Football Club board. There's director(s) of The Leagues Club board sticking their nose in it (at LEAST one, and a big one). And then there's Heaps. And there may be more? Oh, and there's members led by I don't know gathering signatures for an EGM which it seems they've got or are damn close. My guess (and it's only a guess) is Heaps is up to his neck in that.

Interesting news on CHN & JO
A part of me is excited to see them back due to the horrendous position we’re in at present....
But, there’s a part of me that doesn’t want them anywhere near the club for what they did to the club & their team mates
If CHN does stay.... be interesting to see what happens with Elliott who’s looking for a big payrise thanks to Dib 2.0 wanting $700k + per season for his client

Heaps is an example of why our club is at the bottom of the table, Gary, Mark and the rest of the family are good club men, If people really think constant squabbling is the way forward, that just shows how clueless they are.. Looks like Bullfrog really was the organ-grinder, he has departed, and we are left with the monkeys.

+x+xWhat would the law say???... Good question. The options are:- 1. Take them back... 2. Sack them and risk legal action... 3. Trade them to another club.... We can sack them but would probably lose legal action and have to pay their wages... There are desperate clubs in contention with some injuries who definitely want CHN, we could do a deal on 3. no question.. CHN could help our performances this year. no question.. What I would do is see if we have the money to play CHN, then see if he want to stay or go.. so 1./or 3, for him... Ok is a definite 3. or 2, if no one wants him... in his case risk legal action, but try to get him a gig elsewhere first... money doesn't matter but the club image can't stand it. Most impartial fans and the general public know CHN is a grey area, no where near as bad as OK.

Heaps is doing the same thing he hasn't stopped doing since 2004. We're just going to have to learn to live with it because Heaps is out there, he cant be bargained with, he cant be reasoned with, he doesn't feel pity or remorse or fear, and he absolutely will not stop... EVER. Until he gets the job he really wants - Chairman. But... unopposed and invited, like a savior. He's had ample opportunity to put his name on a ballot but he couldn't face the outcome.

Just because it’s now considered a not a ’ ‘deregisterable’’ offence doesn’t mean it’s not a sackable one... Our hand was forced by the NRLols decision, if they want to claim damages they can claim against the NRLol...
It shouldn’t be our problem...

Coffs Habour, salary cap drama, Oasis, Des & Dib, CHN & Ok, wooden spoons I can stand... Heaps as chairman is a bridge too far for me, all those years of supporting the club for nothing.. .

+x+xKent reckons Barrett's coming here for a head job. He’d probably whine about that too... The issue I have with Barrett is that he has a "dumb" look in interviews, especially after a loss. I like coaches who go into interviews looking like they know EXACTLY why their team lost and know EXACTLY what they need to do to fix it. And I'm not talking about posession stats or injuries or ref calls. The coach needs to sound like he knows the outcome before it happens. Or at least make it sound like you know even if you dont. Trick me if you have to. Make me believe we can look forward to next week, not dread the next game.

What they say in interviews makes very little difference to their ability to win games... old man Bennett is not exactly William Shakespeare...

Barrett is a disciple of the Laurie Daley 'statement as if its a question" brigade....he has no track record and with better rosters than we have.

HD, if we had a strong board/chairperson/CEO and both players feel the club didn’t stand up for them & wish not to play for the club again, then option 3 is a must but it must be on our terms.... with so much speculation about our management team.... we’ll probably end up with nothing We all moved on from the sacked duo.... now it’s been overturned, surely someone at the club with half a brain can make this situation turn into double bonus & trade them for players we’re so desperately in need of...... a decent 9 & a decent half or backline player EG.... Dragons want CHN.... fine, give us Cam McInnes & nothing less.

It is not as bad as the deeds of the penalty giver in Todd Greenberg..in covering up a blatant wife bashing. They owe the club and think they will return in kind.
