Second Question - who else do you think is leaking boardroom politics if it's not those in the room?

Half the board's leaking against the other half and vice versa. What information are they leaking???... And what is it that makes you so sure that they are???... More importantly when are some our club identities, and ex-broad members, going to stop being drama queens? Or is it just fans and hangers, on addicted to drama and loving the attention on social media? Or perhaps the media getting a bit inventive with the truth.. Some one is try to stir up trouble, and that is an attempt to destroy the club or seize power which is probably the same thing.. If it is a disgruntled faction on the board, then vote them off, because they should settle disputes in house. So I say, show the Whinging Wendies the Door. they are not what our club is about...

If it is Barrett I can live with it... The idea that there are a host of top coaches banging the door down and desperate to get the Dogs coaching job is a fantasy, they know there (apparently) are factions in the club , no one wants to go to a club that is a rabble. So if we are a rabble, we better stop being a rabble, unless we are happy to pick up the spoon every year.... I don't think we are a rabble, but there are some agitators we need to weed out, apparently... If Zef's stuff is all from social media, then I doubt it is true, but if it is we are a rabble, destined to collect spoons

If by ‘noticed’ you mean reading in the media there’s a bunfight, then choosing not to believe it is not being blind... They craft stories for money...
Is there an alternate source other than hotdog vending types that there are massive issues between the board members???...
Or does playing sh1t, and normal robust and sometimes heated debate amongst board members automatically = a political bun fight...

Well if factions have something to say give a press conference, or send members and fans an email... Or if you have the numbers, roll the board.. We haven;t heard anything official, no one has said anything concrete in public, it is apparently whispers behind closed doors, or tips to journalists, the kind of tactics you use when you don't have the numbers or a strong argument.

If there were no splits on the board, no factions within or on the edges, if we had a United board..... ... then wouldn’t it be prudent, at a time when we’re trying to attract a major sponsor, at a time when we’re trying to attract players, at a time when we’re trying to attract a coach - for somebody, anybody, preferably a statement from the whole board, if not the chairman, or at least f***in’ somebody - to come out and deny the speculation? To come out and say we are united? Again, at this critical time when we’re trying to attract a major sponsor, players and a coach?
And in the face of that we’ve heard.... what?.... from.... who?

If you are in a minority position on a board and you are not happy with the direction things are going the normal practise is to resign and then state your case. I don't see any resignations, any press conferences, or anything official... In fact I haven;t even see anything official in the media even claiming the board is not united.. My guess the Whinging Wendies are irrelevant and will keep whinging while those in power will keep ignoring them.... if the Wendies have anything put up or shut up starting with a resignation.. if they are even on the board. I'm immune to this hand wring over minor drama's at the club... there are more important issues in the world... this is a storm in yer tea cup if you take a close look before drinking next time.

I’d fekking hate Barrett as our coach... The big difference for Penrith this year is the impact of their pack, not an attacking coach... Cleary and co. have been able to play off the back of that... Their depth is enviable...

One area where the Storm copied our playbook, the Warriors stole some of our staff and we forgot the receipe.
Start out with the best squad in the comp, it isn't hard to win games.
And yes good forwards are essential, not a luxury item.

Their depth is enviable... Wots the problem with Barrett? He’s virtually untried in NV’L... Did t make a fist of a decent Manly side, seems a blame shifter... Left his last club with little dignity (I hate talking out of schilling), and he’s the farthest person from a bulldog I can imagine... We need someone with a few years under their belt, someone with experience and a degree of success rebuilding, and that can play a part in attracting players like Ponga (3 years ago, and yes with $$$), while fostering and leveraging the juniors systems slowly being rebuilt over the past two years... Anyway, we’ll talk more a the second AGM... I know I can rely on you to vote the right way... friend...
