dude, all i did was enter "weifang cup" onto search bar on twitter, and all info on weifang cup available was there. including @ed_trinh. and it still is. you have to be an accepted follower to be able to go onto his account and see his tweets. i found that out when i went on his profile to see more tweets, at the start.

Its still pretty douchey not to credit your sources.

Details for the preseason matches(against HAL opposition) are as follows:
Friday 7 September vs Brisbane Roar
o Kick off at 7.30pm, gates open 6.30pm
Wednesday 12 September vs Central Coast Mariners
o Kick off at 7.30pm, gates open 6.30pm
Adults $10 , Concession $5, Kids 15 years and under FREE
Financial Members FREE (ticket must be collected from AUFC prior to the match)
Western Grandstand ONLY – NO reserved seating, General Admission Only
Entry via Holden Street ONLY

Tickets for the home quarter final match on Wednesday 19 September against Bunyodkor will go on sale to all 2012/13 Members from 9am next Monday 20 August. This priority period will run until 5pm Tuesday 4 September. If you are a 2012/13 Member, you will be able to take advantage of this priority period along with discounted ticket prices (please note you’re your membership will take at least 24 hours to become active. When you purchase your membership, you will have to wait until the following day to purchase your ACL tickets)


Tickets will go on sale to the general public from 9am Wednesday 5 September.

Tickets will be available to purchase from Ticketek by phoning 132 849, online at www.ticketek.com.au or by visiting a Ticketek outlet (click here for a full list of Ticketek outlets).

im pretty sure there is a limit of imports for a reason.

You wont see more imports then Aussies on the park ever if it stays the way it is. which is a good thing.

AFCCL game should be a sell out. Last time around (the game in 2008) sold out within a week, we were in the middle of the season 3 boom period when all was rosy with football, but we should still sell this game out I think.

The boys chose to play the most popular game in the world, thus meaning that competition for spots is enormous.

If they played AFL they'd only have to worry about a few states in one country.
They chose to play football because it's the biggest, most popular and best game in the world.

They key word being "should". I don't think it will sell out but I expect over 10k. I am little concerned that the drop off in attendance last season may take a season or two to recover as I've heard way too many stories from people as to why they've lost faith in the club and won't be renewing their season tix/membership this year. Personally, I think chicken little Migliaccio and the cult of Flores have a lot to answer for on that front but I will certainly be airing my frustrations with the way the club is run in the appropriate forum if there is ever an AGM. My attendance at games and support for the team is not at all dependent on what happens in the backrooms, in fact it appears to be unconditional. COYR!

Gold:) don't forget the general sense of dread during the middle of last season with Rini Foolem in charge. A lot of folks went AWOL after the Gold Coast game and the ACL run hasn't seen them return. We need a couple of solid seasons playing good attractive and winning football to get some of the wavering types back into the fold. Perhaps Kossie can provide that - I hope so.

Or maybe they are just not good enough for the aleague, club has promoted plenty local products of late , not sure what the problem is

I was standing near Kossie at the game - you could hear his frustration at the players not pushing forward enough. Constantly telling the wingers to move forward and create opportunities.
