Mabil being linked with a move to the Championship, with Brentford leading the race.

Would be a great move imo as Brentford are a quality side who finished 3rd this season and were unlucky to not be promoted.

Would be an awesome move.

Would be an awesome move.

It would be a great move considering the Brentford coach is Danish and they have a connection with Danish players too.

They play a nice brand of football and got unlucky not to get promoted into the Premier League.

Brentford and Midtjylland have the same owner not just a player link.

The Danish article I read on this seemed to say Midtjylland wants to cash out on Mabil but if no one comes in he will go to Brentford. I think this is linked to Pione Sisto looking to come back from Celta Vigo to Midtjylland dropping Mabil down the order and now they don't see him as a value proposition any more.

Feels like ages since Leckie publicly announced he would be leaving Hertha. Really keen to see where he ends up as I think he still has one more ‘big league’ move in him, although he is turning 30 in 6 months.

Really think his style of play would suit England perfectly.

30!? well I'm 32 now and keep forgetting the vast majority of players are younger than I am. Twitter is dead on Leckie info. He's been given number 11 still and is training. They're definitely working something out. They may get a loan done initially but they'll want to get a fee also.

Turkish club Denizlispor are showing strong interest in Australian midfielder Mustafa Amini, who recently departed Danish Superliga club AGF.

The green-and-blacks had previously hooked Australian midfielder Mustafa Amini and Swedish defender Kristopher Da Graca from Gothenburg. Denizli coach Prosinecki will sign the official contract tomorrow.

The links to Amini are fairly hot now. In the other thread I posted about a Japanese player joining Hannover. There was not an ounce of rumour or discussion. Glad some moves just not public until official.

I wouldn't call it very easy ex pat life style one bit but for the $$$$$$$$$.....with the limited time you have as a player, a compramise nothing more or less.

With the world in general being more used to isolation life nowadays, it may be easier for players to move to these kind of places, at a guess.

Although Dimi and his family seem to love being fairly active in and around Newy, plus he apparently hated life in Korea hence the quick return.. so I can't see a move to Asia being a long term option for him.

Something not related directly to a transfer, but related generally to Australian transfers:
All NPL leagues and players now have footage and detailed stats on Wyscout, regarded as the world’s leading scouting system, used by most leading clubs. This is an incredibly important step for players getting chances abroad, allows all international clubs to see young Aussie players performing, as well as A-League clubs too. Hopefully Australian football will reap the rewards as such.

Slightly down imo.

Pretty much right. Greece has dropped on coefficient to 18 whole Austria is still 12th.

I don't know enough about the Greek league. If he gets minutes then it'll be fine but I find some players tend to go missing there. His new team have a very mixed nationality group.

Trent Sainsbury just posted on Instagram saying he is leaving Maccabi Haifa. Transfermarkt says he was contracted until end of 2021, unclear what has happened there. One comment said “good luck in Belgium”, nothing on the internet to suggest he is going there, wonder if he has the inside scoop..

Hannover captain Marvin Bakalorz has gone to Denizlispor. Amini is also their target and it seems Amini is enjoying a sunny holiday at a resort hotel like those in Turkey.

The issue, Bakalorz is nearly the same type of player being a centre midfielder. Amini is the more attacking one and can be played left or right if needed.

The funny bit, teammates at Dortmund reserves and definitely spent plenty of time together on the training pitch.

Sainsbury to mid-table Belgium is about the best we could’ve hoped for. If he plays to his best form (2017 Confed/2018 WC), he could be at Anderlecht or Brugge in a year.

It looks like Sainsbury is going to join the same club that has that Malaysian wonder boy in Lukman.

Just glad he's staying in Europe and now perhaps better league too.

The positives would be the conditions we normally play in. Hopefully ACL and a fresh start but it's an incredibly sad development.
