Maty starting vs Chelsea in preseason.
It’s a special match, as it’s the first one in England post-corona to trial having spectators return.

+xArzani not even in the second half team for Utrecht. Sadly, I am convinced he was injured in that last game where he only played 14 minutes before being replaced.

+xSeven what, sorry? Women's Community Shield currently 0-0 between Chelsea and Man City with Kerr starting, a City player just sent off in the 62nd minute. Seven chances butchered Crap game for kerr Beth England will be no 9 starter
Europe is funding the war not Chelsea football club

+xHrustic starting vs Bremen. Dead Center of midfield. Groningen can barely touch the ball. 3-0 after 30 minutes.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Arzani was kayaking with the team in the city during the week. Bet it's just precautionary with soreness. Anything more serious would've been announced.

+x5-0 loss for Shimizu away to Kawasaki, who are on top of the table by a mile. I don't know how quick Japanese clubs typically are to sack coaches but poor Cklamovski must be on the thinnest ice after tonight. You think? No relegation this year due to Covid. Surely they give him the season after seeing Yokohama struggled 2018 and won the league the following year.

That post was about Clamovski's Shimizu, not Ange's Yokohama, maybe you have already noticed by now.

Both Australian coaches in Japan need to get a move on.
Shimizu have conceded 15 in 5. A 3:1 win was a brief respite.
OK, upon inspection Ange should've had the 4th win in a row tonight. Still, some small cracks are showing.

FT: Brighton draw 1-1 with Chelsea. Brighton played really, really well.
Maty played the first 60 mins, before Brighton subbed basically their whole team, with Christian Walton replacing Maty.
With Button being sold to West Brom, Walton was to be Brighton’s #2 GK this season but injured his ankle after claiming a corner in the 75th minute and was taken off on a stretcher. He was in a ton of discomfort.
That leaves Brighton bare bones in the GK department, with only their very inexperienced #3 Sanchez and #4 Steele left to back up Maty.

Worse for Brighton. If Ryan gets injured Brighton would be in some trouble. Ryan does need a bit of competition. Not to say someone who'd immediately replace him but a competitor who does really well in training and makes Ryan go that little bit extra every time.

Yeah surely Brighton would be looking to sign another #2 now as if Maty was injured they’d be pretty screwed.

Souttar on bench for League cup game vs Blackpool. Ended 0:0 and Stoke won on pens.
Williams came off the bench for Portsmouth and they progressed on penalties after a 3:3 draw vs Stevenage.

Leckie got the last 20min. Hertha lsot 4:0 to PSV. The squad seemed full strength. Köpke has left for Nürnberg while Leckie still should sort out a move away.
