Dylan Ryan played with the Willem II U21's, pretty sure he had a delayed pre-season so gaining match fitness.  Danny Choi has moved up to the Portuguese 2nd tier, starting for Casa Pia and playing 86 minutes, the same club Silvera has been sent to on loan.

Ryan Teague played a full 90 for the U23s in a 1-0 win. That's his first full 90 in Portugal. While it was nice to see him with the firsts at the start of pre-season I think a starting spot in the reserves and maybe look in for cup games will be a good season.

If Arzani is not even on the team sheet this weekend do we assume he was injured in that weird 14 minute spell a few weeks back, when he was taken off at half-time?  If there are no plans to play him this weekend then surely he would have been given minutes in the mid-week friendly?

As always with Arzani it’s hard to know wtf his situation is- but Other ‘good’ players missing also like Ajax game scorer Boussaid and other new winger Elia- so maybe just keeping him on ice 🤞
