+xI found a stream on Facebook and managed to catch the game from just before Arzani came on. He did some good things. Some nice quick passes and always tried to make positive attacking plays. He did one excellent run where he tackled a guy in the near the edge of the Utrecht 18 yard box and then burst forward with the ball and dribbled up the field to the other box and put a through ball to Kerk, who then put a bad cross in. Overall, he was very positive and was surprisingly good at defending too. He did 2 or 3 tackles where he chased a man down and won it off him. The only other interesting thing I noticed was that a lot of his teammates couldn’t seem to read his quick 1-2 passes. It was like he was thinking further ahead than them and then they’d get caught with the ball and wouldn’t be able to lay it back to him. Maybe that will improve the more he plays. Cheers. Great descriptions. If he’s chasing down opponents and dispossessing them, hopefully he’s still pacey. Unless the opponent is a real slow coach or unaware of their surroundings, that’s not easy to do. As for the defending, hurray!!!

Facebook streams usually stay on Facebook. Any chance of a link?

Disappointing to see Willem have started another youth center back today. Ryan not in squad.

Holland almost had an assist. Header went wide. Giannou was a last minute sub Jones and Duke starting against each other. ACL round of 16.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Hrustic is supposedly having his medical today. He might get a chance quickly as on the weekend Frankfurts star winger Filip Kostic went down with a knee injury. Even though Kostic prefers to play on the opposite side to Hrustic their wide stocks are pretty thin so it might require a bit more than a direct replacement.
I can’t see it mentioned yesterday but Teague got another 90 minutes in the reserves getting their 4th win in a row to start the season
Leckie wasn’t in the Hertha squad because of a neck injury

If he gets a chance with the first team then it’s massive

Teague's doing well but it's a giant leap from the separate U23 league to the top division.

+xTeague's doing well but it's a giant leap from the separate U23 league to the top division. I’ve watched some of his games for Famalicao U23, and he’s obviously technically gifted, but his concentration is often lacking, and he makes quite a lot of mistakes. In his position (6 or deeper 8), metronomic accuracy and consistency is absolutely vital - he’ll need to develop that if he wants to make the step up.

Teague has great potential, agree he's technically quite gifted for a No.6 but its not enough, decision making is also very important too for that position. Maybe he's still adapting to a new country and higher level?

https://www.instagram.com/p/CFj4IdnJ02c/ Great video posted by Al Taawon involving Duke. They were defeated by Al Nassr in the round of 16 though, so Jones goes through.

Edit: Seems like the image failed. It is from the following tweet showing Souttar in the EFL team of the week. It says powered by whoscored so probably a purely highest roasting based off stats, still really good though. https://twitter.com/EFL/status/1310523968391196674

New country, new language... the fact he's playing in a team years above him this early shows they rate him.. he's playing with the best youth in the world.. look at Benfica's transfers out over the last few years.. all the quality is coming from portugal.

Its not as good as the betting stream but its available on demand and you can watch it later at a reasonable time 👍
