I believe Adelaide Utd are going to have a great year, the football will be fantastic and the support will take care of itself.
How this has happened with the fools who run the place i will never know.

It's a disgrace, most personal issues between the RA and South End are apparently resolved now, so why not join again, we saw how much better the atmosphere was even when the South End were in the corner vs MV, why not make a permanent move?

The only problem i have with active support is some with the attitude of standing on chairs continue to do it then complain if they get in trouble of thrown out. But i dont like how welso were to over powerful try ot act like cops who failed there cop exam and weslo was the best they could do. Hopefully this season its alot better.

The club is talking the right talk as is AEC but actions speak louder. As for the active Support I like where they are placed now...creates a better surround sound. If I had my way id have groups on all 4 sides really Very excited for 2013/2014 😄

The 50 odd able to show up actually resulted in a lot of different opinions being heard and things moved along nicely. Just remembered that it seems a few of the radio stations are very interested in getting on board this season. Nova, ABC plus a couple more. Also to those interested both Jim and I told Glenn what a great job he and the club have been doing over the past 3 odd months. Praise is as important as criticism.

Also the FFA potentially would look at supporting Adelaide and Perth to secure international friendlies to be played at our home grounds. Of course these would not be Liverpoolesque teams but ones that could attract healthy if not enormous crowds, ie Everton etc quality teams.

There may be one mid season and there will be one at end of season, but they won't do more than that.

All of last season we had huge whinge sessions about the club.
Credit needs to be given at just how many positive initiatives have been given a green light. starting to feel like the club is coming to the fans and not the other way around again.
Long may it continue

Exactly, the criticism was warranted, just as much as praise is now.

+1 This offseason seems to have been the turning point, I think they learnt a lot about what not to do last season.

just with regards to active support if anyone is interested in giving active support a go but doesn't want to stand in either the Red Army or South End bay why not give it a go and sit/stand in the bays between Red Army and South End for the Melbourne Victory game in Round 2.
south end will be in the North east corner so if anyone wants to be loud and vocal but feel they want to be not in these two active areas get in the bays inbetween.
My honest question is would anyone not involve with either active group consider getting involved if we were one big group.
I stress that I am not speaking on behalf of any group at all and this is my own question.

I used to be alot more involved sat with active support on occasion when i felt like getting loud and the big matches when it was just one big group not split up into 2 smaller groups it feels more cut off so yes it if was like it was 3 years ago red army merged with the rest of the crowd would probably get more enveloped with it all again.

I just voted on The Advertiser's team of the decade. I'm sure everyone is well voiced in the shitness of the selection system (some players aren't there, the positions and formations aren't flexible), etc.
Here is the team I voted, followed by the team I would have preferred:
-----------Galekovic------- Alagich--Mullen--Og--Cassio --Dodd--Diego--Reid--Burns- ------Van Dijk--Flores-----
---------Galekovic----------- Alagich--Costanzo--Og--Cassio -----------Reid-------------- ----Dodd--Flores--Leckie----- -----Van Dijk--Burns---------
Bench: Diego, Marrone, Mullen, Beltrame (that's a fucking balanced bench if I may say so myself - provides cover for most of the eleven!)

Bloody hell wagazzz1 (or however your crazy username is done) what did you go and ask Red Out Loud if the Aston Villa thing was serious  It was a little speculation and Russell asking us if we thought that Adelaide would be supportive of a similar sort of team to that coming here and playing at Hindmarsh, not that it was happening! You should have asked here ya duffer since your up in Brisbane I understand it is hard to keep up to date with what's going on all the time :)

Was there division or just happened to end up with 2 ( or 3 I think theresa 3rd?)

Nice :) Either end is good (y) The only reason for the different ends is so they don't step on each others toes with the way they support. No issues to be found at all :) Also there hopefully will be a group back in the top southern end of the Western stand again this season - they were excellent for atmosphere when they got along to games!

I've considered getting involved with the South End this year, I don't have a very high opinion of the RA so I wouldn't join them.
Would definitely test it out by jumping between the two. like that idea.

picked up my club members book today, quick flick though sees me drawn to their writing on Adelaide Shores. Q1: do we have a development of AdShores in the pipeline for an AU home base, training centre and I have completely missed the boat on hearing about it?
Q2: Surely there'd be an artist rendering somewhere if there is a proposal for an AUFC training centre down there?
Q3: If there is a proposal...can someone link it to here please?
