Deng back to CB against FC Tokyo, Langerak lining up against Iniesta at Vissel Kobe, and Ange at home against Sagan Tosu in Japan tonight.

Iredale's goal from the other day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkhCgNPEn7YPeople who can't read football would say he just tapped it in with his head, but the way he timed his run and took his header is very encouraging. Reminds me of a previous Australian player.

Hard not to get excited about his potential

Midtjylland make it 1:1 on 65. Away goals a concern here.

Maynard-Brewer full 90 in goal for Charlton in Football League Trophy against Brighton 21s. 1-1 full time and 4-1 after penalty shootout. Two good penalty saves from AMB.

4:1. Mabil in the CL draw tomorrow. Brilliant. He's sitting exhausted on the pitch. Massive last 30 from his team.

+x+x4:1. Mabil in the CL draw tomorrow. Brilliant. He's sitting exhausted on the pitch. Massive last 30 from his team. Awesome 👍. How did he play? Lovely cross for 1:1 header albeit keeper was silly to come out. Good switch of player for shot which saw 3:1. He just seemed absolutely spent and I think it was exhaustion and elation. This was after the 4:1 with 2mins left when he was simply sitting on the pitch while the rest where jumping around celebrating.

+xGreat opportunity for Deng. Unfortunately Deng was at fault for the only goal of the match with a weak clearance straight to their star striker Leandro who set up a team mate.

Jones through to the ACL semis. Al Nassr v Persepolis, Sunday 1am aest.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

UEFA Champions League draw tonight at 1am AEST. Mabil is our only horse in the race, unless I'm mistaken.

Frankfurt have loaned Younis from Napoli. Ouch. Competition is healthy but there's some real calibre there.

Should be the end of the road for Haifa but maybe Ruka will snatch a goal.
