I hope I don't jinx it from here, but honestly, this season has so far been the best set of kits ever in the A league.

Every single kit is good to great and there has not yet been one bad kit. This is freakin unbelievable!

I like our away kit, but I don't like the home kit at all. 

If you're going to have the white collar, then the lining at the end of the sleeve should have also been white.

Simple, summer games, Black kits would be killer on players, would be much much warmer then a white shirt.

Also with the exception of newly arriving Macathur, no club wears a white kit. So its an easy one to switch to for away days as it contrast most colours.

This is a symptom of a franchise model. The clubs do not own their own IP. However, you may be reading into this wrong. The FFA would not have registered the trademark on their own volition. WSW would have requested the FFA do it on their behalf. Because it contains the word 'Wanderers' it would be more likely to be approved if it is registered by the same owner of the Western Sydney Wanderers trademark, which is the FFA. This should all change once the league independence is finalised and clubs take ownership of their own IP. 

Victory should change their main kit to white and go with that type of design forever. Looks much more classy and like a football kit (instead of a rugby jersey).

Or you can see it as FFA did it because they didn’t want a competitor (fan groups) printing shirts. They want you to buy FFA products.

If what you write is true wouldn’t it be on the jersey? The only other reason would be WSW did an own-goal.
 
The same merch conditions are in place so why wouldn’t FFA let WSW use it?

Melbourne City own their own ip but they still haven’t had it accepted because it look like the original Melbourne City.
