+x+x+x+x+x+x+xbig blown up photo of adam elleitt with his hands on his hips in a st george jersy on the bulldogs army page & its a matter of time before st george announce his signed so it says this means we have lost 2 forwards in elliett & c h neira & a mate of mine was telling adian toleman looks like his not going 2 get another deal & i asked why & apprently his asking something like whats his on & the club wont upgrade him Elliott's had a really good season but up until now he has never played consistently well for us. Always made too many handling errors. He is probably worth keeping given the nature of the rule changes but not for too much. If the dragons are offering him more than good luck to him. I don't believe Tolman is asking for an upgrade. He is already being paid way more than he is worth as he signed when Hasler was around and Hasler rated him one of the best props in the comp. So given I expect this to be his last season and considering Elliott may leave it doesn't give us much depth in the backrow. Stimson comes back but he didn't look impressive earlier this season. We'd definitely need to recruit one or two props if we plan on continuing to play Thompson at lock. Elliot has gone okay but he's never struck me as anything other than a fringe first grader. If someone wants to get into a bidding war for him then they're welcome to him. Agree 100%.
He was definitely the best forward we had at the start of the year, but isn’t worth anywhere near the 600 or 700k Mr 2% Dman is pushing for his client.
Offer him no more than 350-400k & factor in some bonuses if he makes origin etc.... Looks like villinflation has been hit by the recession... it was a million two weeks ago... Elliott spoke yesterday to the guys on the NRL channel.... someone posted the full chat on the Kennel. Sounds like he’s gonski’s.
He did say that new coach Barrett called him to speak about the club’s direction under his watch & that included Elliott.... but from listening to Elliott, he’s made up his mind & will take the overs that are on offer at the Dragons
So did u watch it or base your opinion/post on various TK posts???... L ike when a hack grub germoulist from Fox or SMH or Terrorcrap write an article referencing some other grub germoulists article or some flops tweet as the source...
I look forward to all the Dibbys who have ridiculed and hated on Elliot bagging the Board for letting him go if he takes an overs offer elsewhere...
Toms time at Penny’s will come to a swift end as the media ups it’s ‘talking to players’ game... I did notice some previously unseen social distancing between Coach Dad and Coach Tom in the coaches box on the weekend...
I based it on what I heard from his interview Mr 2%
Jump on there & have a listen & give me your take...... it sounds like he’s played his last game for the club!

Villi also said the bulldogs haven’t spoken or have any interest in Curtis Scott so that’s rules this story out

Love what Arthur Laundy had to say..... he wants in & will do anything for the club & players! Great stuff! Article up just now on SMH that Andrew Hill said the club is NOT after Addo Carr. He said the club wants another prop ( that’s goodbye Tolman then) a playmaker & another backline player.
Can’t believe there was NO mention of a bloody No9 in the article.
Couple of English guys being looked at & the club IS interested in Jack Bird if the Broncos tipped in $500k out of his $900k contract to get the deal over the line.
Maybe BigT can post the SMH article on here.....

Offer him no more than 350-400k & factor in some bonuses if he makes origin etc.... Not wrapt on origin bonuses. Sometimes more about how origin team is going and injuries than player ability. NSW blooded twice as many players as Qld during Qld's domination. This would mean twice as many bonuses for NSW.

+xI've said before and I still believe it that if Elliot was coached by Bellamy he would be right in Origin mix and probably have already played it. It's the danger of dismissing Elliot so easily. Maybe Tom can get the best out of him to turn him into an Origin type player, maybe not. But to dismiss him so easily is setting ourselves up to be bitten in the arse as one of those players we'll regret letting go. Of course the price has to be right, but we shouldn't just throw him out with the bathwater thinking there's a better and cheaper replacement. The cheapest players are nearly always home grown, everyone is replaceable, but often a replacement is not as good or costs more. I think the issue is Elliott wants to play semi final footy and make rep teams. That was always the danger in fixing the cap mess the way we did, players can get tired of losing an restless. So first off Tom and our recruitment has to convince players we are heading north.

I hope we keep Elliott.
Interesting team selection this week.
Lafai in for Holland, Cogger for Wakeham.
Only real surprise is Sue for Renouf T.
Georgie is mixing things up a bit.

We'll get nowhere paying him better than average money just because he had an improved season when his livelihood was on the line. I really don’t think it fair to put Elliots improved season down to being off contract... Has always given 100% he is just improving in most aspects of his as he matures... His best tears as a forward are still ahead of him...

Let him go to the Sharks - if they take him. Better still....let the Roosters have him In fact if the Roosters get him, I'd give them -300k from their salary cap. But the deal is, they HAVE to play him. Will be worth 3M to every team in the NRL

+x+x+x+x+xI hadn't seen Klem in a match for a long time. He's got the offload in him now, but still doing that writhe spasm wriggle thing on the ground after every run. There was one time I noticed it happen yesterday & the nearest defender to him was 2 or 3 meters away just walking back without even looking at DK let alone anyone touching him. We have a good record playing against Klem. I'm just enjoying the win.... Would love to beat Parra, at least we got a confidence boost going into that game. But it should be tough, our side is still lacking some quality in key areas. HD...you think Lafai may come in? Montoya really looked all at sea but I guess that suited the ground. Lafai & Reimis for Montoya & Dutchie...Remis on the wing. Remis and DWZ definitely on the wings. Montoya dropped. Dutchy looks good in attack at times, but makes the occasional bad miss in defence. Lafai is a better all round player, but forces the odd dumb offload. The problem with Dutchy and Lafai is the occasional bad play, it is a coin toss for me.. If should be a physical game against Parra on that score Lafai is perhaps better suited. Lafai will be keen to get a chance and impress with a view to earning a contract for next year, but that might spill over to forcing the play. The coach should let him know what is expected. I rated Lafai better than Jmoz and was spewing when Des favoured Morris ahead of him. His form did drop badly when he had his kid and we eventually offloaded him but after 1 year his form returned at the Dragons and he looked the better player again. I'm not sure which Lafai we have now but surely he is a walk-in in this team. Dragons fans were whinging about him. But he has the talent, mostly needs to be a bit smarter.

+x+x+x+xI hadn't seen Klem in a match for a long time. He's got the offload in him now, but still doing that writhe spasm wriggle thing on the ground after every run. Holland’s defence/arm grabbing is horrendous too. Both don’t belong anywhere near 1st grade
