Perhaps. Fans were unhappy with Clayton. The minimal highlights showed McGree with two good passes which led to chances for Hogan. One was offside but a nice header it was.

Not sure how Arzanibplayed but it’s possible the head coach wants some competitive football in his legs. Only two substitutes were used in the first team match the other night and while Arzani only came on at the death he was one of those two. It’s hard to tell but Arzani may be tracking well for a first team start in the next few weeks, maybe in a mid-week match if any are scheduled. In my view, if he is in the first team by Christmas that would be fantastic, given his injury history. I tried to read the update of the youth match on Utrecht’s Facebook page but the translations were not good and Arzani’s name wasn’t mentioned, that I could see. 

Agree. Especially if Kerk leaves for EPL. Only 4 games into season so still early days. I still think he has enough talent to impress before end of season and become a regular starter 

He played well based on his stats on the app I use. The fact he came off on 67 minutes (3/4 of the game) shows that this is a deliberate strategy to get minutes in his legs. I don’t think we should be worried about this - remember he barely even played in pre season, it’s good that they’re trying to get him up to match fitness, shows he’s an important part of their plans.
