I didn't see enough of Adelaide last season, and I'm a poor judge of defender on TV, how did you guys rate Dylan McGowan this season?

Qu was a fucking legend, I think he meant if we had a player like that now as in, if Qu was still playing and hadn't age it would be great. I can't see us getting anyone tbh, maybe one player but probably a squaddie.

They also said that they don't like us playing at Adelaide Oval, before then scheduling two matches during the season and not stopping FFA from plonking finals matches there.

Iacopo La Rocca signs with Adelaide for two seasons. As La Rocca takes the last visa spot, any other signings must be Australian.

I wasn't a big fan of him what I saw at CB tbh.

Thanks Josep =d> He came into the club at one of the bleakest points in its history and despite all his detractors and critics, managed to instil a new club spirit and philosophy and deliver silverware. The knee sliding bird had to leave the nest someday (preferably a bit later than he did) and having had Guillermo Amor at the club for a year, he has made sure Adelaide United have the smoothest transition possible. Hopefully Amor develops into a manager who can push the players to deliver their style of entertaining, attractive and effective football consistently and can do what Muscat did with MV after Postecoglou put all the pieces in place. Welcome Guillermo.

Welcome Guillermo. "Silverware" being a pre-season cup with an unfair advantage? Club are better off without this Also-Ran.

He never took them to the top, when he really should have, and I found him completely insufferable in interviews and pacing the sideline. Theyll be better off with Amor.

Welcome Guillermo. All things considered, this is just about the smoothest transition the club could've had between Gombau and Amor - if Amor is switched on (which, with a CV like his you'd assume he is) then the players shouldn't miss a beat AND should potentially push on to become one of the top three clubs in the competition alongside Victory and Sydney this coming season. As a Tard, I hope he isn't too good however ;)

Val taking comments from Galekovic completely out of context and twisting his words to satisfy his hate boner for Adelaide United ](*,) He needs to go fuck himself with a jackhammer.

Several Austrian outlets reporting on James Jeggo's links to Sturm Graz, is he #gone? Also we need to make this thread more active, my fellow Adelaide m80s

Agreed, doesn't see much love these days m80.
Don't want him to go just yet, he has raw potential but still needs to work a few bugs out of his game. One more season of first team football will do him a world of good, whereas leaving now just seems like he's setting himself up for a couple seasons at least of solid bench/reserves time. I could be wrong and I hope I am, if Sturm Gratz are this serious about buying him then I hope they see him as a starting XI player (maybe not immediately, but very soon). Otherwise why risk your starting position at a decent club in a league where you know people will look at you? I understand personal motivation and the lure of Europe etc., not sure if he's established himself enough here yet though.

The club isn't in any major financial trouble, so they wouldn't need the cash that much. Wouldn't hurt for him to stay another year and work on his game. According to transfermarkt, Awer Mabil sold for $680,000. That should be more than enough to lure Bozanic. Could use the rest to fund a possible long run in the ACL or improve the facilities currently being built.

That's a decent amount of cash if true. Hopefully the club spends it well (Bozanic-esque player or youth development/facilities). I remember reading some rumours about Dugandzic to AU.. taking the cheap option if true. Would rather see Kamau get that time on the wing if that's the case.

New kits are pretty meh Looks like the designer discovered gradient in Photoshop for the first time. If it were solid colours, I'd really like it.

If it were solid colours, I'd really like it. Tend to agree, they look like a typical template job. Hoping I can find a home kit from last season cheap now on the rack at a sports store now though, thought they were class.
