Shomurodov is back from injury, replacing Goran Pandev in the 68th minute of a 1-0 loss to Udinese, forcing a save with a shot. Genoa having a 93rd minute equaliser revoked by VAR for offside: https://streamja.com/oPM9N

+xSon opening the scoring in a 2-0 win against Man City, sending Tottenham to the top of the table, and himself to the top of the EPL goalscorers' list with 9 goals in 9 games. Bloke is absolutely on fire. yep, was a good game to watch and Son ripped em on counters. They only had 33% possesion 4 shot in total 2 on target for the win compared to Citys dominance 22 shots 5 on target. Calvin Lewis on top now with 10goals to date.

I'm a little frustrated for Minamino..... Maybe due to our injury long list in need but he had a real good chance to shine during the BHA game having started up for the 1st time in a league match. Nearly a year on since signing. Now don't get me wrong, imo EPL is the hardest league no disrepect to BHA BUT he wasn't playing against a top6 side that you expect is far more challenging. Sure he played at RH (not his fav position) he's struggling to make impact and still looks a little lost. Below from one of my Red sites explains another pov. There does come a point, however, whereby you can't just keep on coming up with new reasons to explain a consistent lack of impact, and a player either sinks or swims. Minamino wasn't actively poor against Brighton, he just didn't show anything to suggest he's anywhere near deserving of a starting spot on a regular basis. He still appears worryingly lightweight and easy to knock off the ball, and his speed of decision-making – one of his strongest assets at Salzburg – just isn't evident often enough.

Son and Kane assisting each other for both goals respectively in Tottenham's 2-0 North London Derby win despite 70% possession for Arsenal. World class.

yep that they are. They have Palace next, should be the win then us Reds @ Anfield - look forward to that one ! Mourinho will play the sit back waiting game as usual hoping for a similar outcome vsing the Gooners 2 successful counters BUT the Reds will come up with goals unlike the Gooners for starters. We shall see IF they are real contenders I guess.

Minamino again had a perfect chance to show his wares in the dead rubber last game earlier this morn despite a very changed line up playing on the left behind Jota. Don't know what it is but he's just not performing to what I know he's capable of.

Son beating both the keeper and the broadcast team with a cheeky counter to score an incredibly important equaliser for Tottenham in the top of the table clash against Liverpool. Off after 86 minutes.
Edit: Firminho heading in a corner in the 89th minute to win it and go top for Liverpool. It's a pity because Son had placed an earlier corner beautifully on Kane's forehead but he gave it a bounce and it went over.

and thats the diff, pity doesn't win games but conviction :) A rippa game how I love watching and being a supporter makes for tingling viewing. Both forwards had great chances a game of mm's and conviction when needed. Bobby headed earlier straight to Loris whereas as Kane under the pressure yet alone heads to the ground and over the bar then Bobby again has his chance meeting a top cross heads the ball perfectly away from Loris for the Finish ! Son, played great to get his goal - as expected he's a brilliant player, imagine him being in LFC instead of a counter attacking Mou team, he'd be headline near on every game like Salah/Jota for eg...... In the end both Kane/Son were blunted enough compared to their previous opponents and we had a 19yr old debuting next to Fabinho - not typical/usual centre pairings kudos to them cutting off so much ball.

I have admiration for Spurs from way way back in Div 1 days and to date but not much for mourinho tbh despite his good record. He's a bitter and bad sport from way back - I take my hat off to coachs who can accept defeat admirably. IF the wheels fall off and I say IF who will be scared from his outbursts protecting his ego, we shall see I guess for his true personality comes out when going gets tuff. I hope for Son a bigger Club buys him in the future so we can see him shine even more for he could do so much more instead being in a counter attacking game plan every single big game.

Mmm, no mention of Taki's game and 1st LFC league goal vs Palace ove rthe weekend. Finally a start up and game he delivered what we all knew he can do. Played left wing, was involved plenty, onwards and forwards well done.

Hey no disrespect to anyone on here, but why do you care about any players outside of Australia? I get Son & Minimino, but not sure about why anyone would be following the progress of Uzbekistan or Iranian players for example?

I also go into bat for the AFC a fair bit against Europeans who still think it's the 1970s. Uzbekistan are particularly interesting in that I heard they ensure their young strikers accumulate around 100 senior games to harden them for national team duty. Of course a great talent will be elevated quickly but they like to make sure they get their club minutes.

Son, as mentioned here before I admire this guys style of play, its brilliant and he's unbeatable when he's on "song" BUT last 2 games I'm seeing what occured once again when Kane was out injured last year. Spurs dropped their bundle AND now it happenned again when vsing us/LFC previous game. Once Kane is off the pitch he goes MIA, did it again this morning vsing BHA of all Clubs no dis respect to them. Spurs have a pretty good midfield, Son hardly touched or got involved when his team needs him more than ever just as last season when Kane is out. This guy really does need to stand up the coming weeks, lets see if he does.

+xMinamino loaned to Southampton for the rest of the season. yep and I reckon we had no choice in doing so. Its 2mths since my last post on him and he hasn't figured much since. He just isn't settling in the PL, Klopp is quoting his size is a facter and the trouble breaking in the squad. He feels its better he gets the remainder of the season on the pitch gaining game time and with Southampton he will, hope he turns up nest season with the game we know he can deliver.

A good German club would've been better for Minamino's development rather than going straight to the reigning European champions.
Japanese players are allergic to the EPL.

Honda to Portimonense in Portugal. They've already got two Japanese players, Koki Anzai who was recently with Kashima, and have just signed goalkeeper Koki Anzai from Kashiwa Reysol. They've also just loaned former Barcelona youth player Lee Seung-woo from Sint-Truiden with an option to buy, and their Portuguese coach also just signed Jafar Salmani having previously coached him in Iran, so they are really all in on Asian football.

Mehdi Taremi with a goal and MOTM for FC Porto in their 2-2 draw with Braga, both of Braga's goals going in after Taremi was subbed off in the 84th minute. He's gotten 8 goals and 3 assists in 18 Portuguese league games so far this season.

A hattrick of assists for Son in a 5-4 FA Cup loss at Everton.
Taremi scoring again for Porto in the first leg of the Portuguese cup semi final.
Kubo coming on in the 55th minute for Getafe in a 2-0 loss to his parent club Real Madrid, doesn't look like he got a chance to do much.
